Maybe that is why he chews his gum like a cow on cud LOL

Enough of this ridiculous talk of getting Wilson some snaps...we're fighting for our playoff lives and we're going to send in our #3 to see what he can do?? Crazy talk. That's for teams out of the playoffs to do, which is not us, at least not at this point in the season.

Lets end the drama and win this one!

Quote from: theaardvark on October 15, 2025, 04:48:35 PMI don't think the team needs to even have a lead to get Wilson a series or two.  "load management" would allow us to give Zach a rest if the D has a quick turnaround on a series.  Trot Wilson out and let Zach recover for the next series.

Might even wake up a little competitive spirit, light the fire under Zach, and even Streveler, especially if Wilson comes in and does a Dru.  But it would mean giving him some reps this week, and making sure he know that he is going in.  Throwing any backup in cold is not ideal.  Yes, they are supposed to always be ready, and professional, but the difference between emergency sub vs. planned sub is night and day.

Wilson? Load management? Rest?

These are things you've earned to from a strong and consistent season (or by already being bad enough that you're on the outside already). We haven't earned squat and will (should) being out there earning until there's nothing left to play for.
#Ride?

Never going to happen. If Wilson was going to go in, it should have been against Hamilton. Had the big lead, D was playing well. Not going to happen. Throw BO20 into that category also. Not coming out unless he is injured.
Don't go through life looking in the rearview mirror.

We ain't going to see no Wilson to Wilson.....unless we have nothing to play for and we do...He should have seen more playing time this season in some of the stinkers we put up thjs year....Unfortunately that's the way the coach decided to play it....

Exactly, if he doesn't come in when we're up 40, he ain't coming in ever!! Enough of this bogus talk, next game could determine where we go in the playoffs if we go into the playoffs. So by all means for sure put our third stringer in to see what he can do?!? Tell you what, I don't need to see what he can do him not playing in the Hamilton game tells me he can't play period and I doubt he's even here next year. We're going to get a real #2 and Strev will be our SY qb

The Zipp

with the sad sack team the riders are fielding it should be over by halftime.

but anything can happen

Ridermania

Riders are sitting 8 starters vs Bombers.

As long as we show up with intensity, which hasn't been a given this year.

Quote from: Tecno on October 15, 2025, 04:37:37 AM* rookie = 1st 2 years in this case.  He (Schoen) was monster in both '22 and '23.  Injuries didn't really hit hard until '24.

He was hurt at the tail end of the 2023 season. He was hobbled in the playoffs and especially the Grey Cup.

Ya, noticed that.  Does it change mid-game, or is it constant?  If it changes, could be the smelling salts and nicotine gum wearing off mid-game.  ;D

If it's constant, there are some medical/neurological conditions that cause a lazy eyelid look.  Which wouldn't be his fault.  Yes, it does make someone look sleepy or dumb, even though they may be neither.  I'm curious, when it started... maybe I'll see if I can see the TOR DC from 5 years ago in one of my PVR games.

I do get the impression the dude plays poker though.  He almost never shows any emotional reaction to on-field events.  Even less than MOS.
Never go full Johnston!
