Nothing stupid about having a day recognizing children who weren't returned home and for the survivors of the residential school system. I appreciate it just as I do the pink game as a survivor of cancer. Thanks.

I'm all for truth and reconciliation. The stupid part is wearing special jerseys just for warm up.

Stuck behind BOLO, Tyler Ternowski, and probably Bruggeling, safe to say the Bombers can probably take him back in the off-season if they want him.  Good fill in and great locker-room guy everybody loved.

I imagine we would have just kept him if we wanted him.

Woodbey - the guys a tackle machine
Collaros - looked like the Collaros of old
Lawson jr - they tried to pick on him but he held up -getting better each game
Willie - if only for his two great plays at the end of the half to shut Ham down
Oline - gave Zac time
Hogan - called a much better game, moved Zac around, changed up snap counts, and more rpos
Mitchell - good to see him a part of the Offence,(still might be odd man out when Wheatfall returns)

Bad
Castillo missing a convert again
Eli's facemask penalty taking away a great  play (by sterns i think)
Defensive pressure still an issue

Ugly
nothing really

Very nice write up agree all

Good
We back!!!!! Live and die with Zach, OL and BBB and all three clicking, Zach was throwing dimes as consistent as I have has seen, his deep ball was 👌
Mitchell very nice snag, I had previously stated that he was coming on and important to keep him in the lineup and I believe he has taken another step with that deep ball snag
Bad
Tony Jones 2x wiff tackles
D just awesome
Woods looked ok
Positive vibes from this big win will balance out the mood on here a bit

The stupid orange warm-up jerseys.
Calling the orange jerseys stupid shows disrespect to the event, team, CFL and our awesome Indigenous community and cultures
You could have said you don't like them wearing them for just the warm up rather than calling them stupid imo

This event each year is a highlight for me and it's amazing in every aspect and I hope it grows and we do more.  The jerseys raise a lot of money and are an incredible idea and it's fine imo they are used for warm up.

Sir Blue and Gold

For those that maybe didn't know those jerseys are auctioned off for Winnipeg Aboriginal Sport Achievement Centre (WASAC) and so far has raised almost $17,000.

So in other words, we won 40-3 because we just got lucky.

Kenny left feeling disrespected "because we signed Mitchell before him".

Kenny - 2-9 32 yards
Mitchell - 3-3 67 yds 1TD

Sorry Kenny.

Great
Zach Collaros had one of those games where almost everything goes right. He seems to be good for one of those per season. The way Collaros rolled out on a couple of plays reminded me of Tom Clements.

Good
The Blue Bombers scored 34 points on offence on just 7 offensive possessions.

Bad
The Blue Bombers set an unofficial CFL record with only 7 offensive possessions in the game. An offshoot of that is the 16 combined offensive possessions is also an unofficial CFL record. There were 134 plays in the game which is on the low side.

On the opening kickoff, a sideline official tripped over a photographer who appeared to be lying prone on the sideline at the H45. While somewhat comical, it puts the official in a vulnerable position.

The missed convert after the first TD. It appears as though the snap from Leroux is a little inside which forces Sheahan to twist to secure the ball. When Benson was the long snapper, Castillo would miss right sometimes when Sheahan was forced to twist on similar snaps. Is it possible that Sheahan loses his point of reference when he is forced to twist in such a manner?

Ugly
On the missed convert TSN cuts away from the play before it concludes. When they show a replay it is from a camera angle that has an obstructed view because the goalpost is in the way. TSN even made light of the obstructed view. Was this deliberate by TSN?

In the Edmonton-Saskatchewan game, TSN once again showed a replay from an end zone camera that caused an obstructed view of the player they were trying to isolate. Note to TSN, that camera angle will still have the potential for an obstructed view in 2027 (and beyond) because the end posts will still be between the camera and the field. In fact, there is the potential for even more obstructed views from that camera in the future because of the location of the end posts.

Good catch.  Now that the league and TSN are basically one entity (TSN insider now the big CFL boss), I have little doubt TSN director is under instruction to show things that make the change ideas look good.

Like there weren't 5 other camera angles for them to show of the @WPG return.  LOL.

And like you said, views will still be obstructed in '27; just in different ways.  An S.J. Green circus catch right at the back middle of the EZ for instance.  Not only will it be obstructed, but the mythical "player safety" could become a thing as the diving REC could still end up head-first into the post.

P.S. How does the CFL maximize their $ and deal with TSN when they next negotiate if the two sides are basically just one side (TSN)?  Commish: "Well, TSN wanted to pay us $10M less this season and we have no choice but to take it, doh."

It happened in the Montreal game where a defender caught a potential interception out of bounds.

Ford said it would be an interception in 2027 with the new endzones but he was wrong as the defender was out of bounds to the side. The length of the field would have made no difference.
