Have you looked at the roster lately?  There are so many potential RT's on the roster right now, someone will win out for the PR spot to develop into the next RT.

I still want a guest OLine coach at TC.
Unabashed positron.  Blue koolaid in my fridge.  I wear my blue sunglasses at night.  Homer, d'oh.

Rookie OT becomes a starter?  It's been awhile since that happened.

That's true going into every camp. Doesn't mean any of them turn out to be good.
My wife is amazing!

But it's clear you really want/need a Yoshi-level RT if you want to win GCs, especially if you value your run game.  Vant/Rand/Lofton won't be horrible, but they won't give you the run game you really want to have.

We arguably have a better-than-Yoshi level RT right now!!  And yes, when he eventually moves to LT, he'll be tough to replace... unless we just FA snipe the next Broxton.  Which is fine, because that's what we've always done to get our top OTs (sniped Stan, sniped Yoshi, sniped Broxton).  Lather, rinse, repeat.
Never go full Johnston!

I always thought the Bomber running game was led by the OG's, with Neufeld, Gray and Wallace usually the most prominent linemen blocking well down field, even Kola occasionally made it out there. Brady being an inside runner mostly chooses the B-gap they vacated, rarely is he following an OT after initial break through.

We have Big Stan and Broxton starting this year.  The rookie is the OT in waiting.
