I'll wait for you to post the post links.  Forum has a "search" function to aid in your quest.

Again, the thought of moving them, or complaining about it, does not become a thing until the league actually does it.  You don't have to complain about something to actually agree with it being changed.

Quote from: wpg#1 on September 27, 2025, 02:09:00 AMWe had a person from California come up to our office this past summer, he was very excited to go to a CFL game and did with a couple of our staff. The first things I told him prior to going is, the field is longer, wider, and we have 12 players on the field. We gave him all of the details of the differences, but for sure the longer wider field was the first thing mentioned to him. He loved the game, the field size, and had an absolute blast. He said he was going to spread the word in LA.

It's like the t-shirts from the 90s - longer, wider, faster.

Its not the length, it width that makes it better  ::) .  And the game is still faster, if anything, they are trying to improve that with the new clock.

Win the division and you get to have a bad playoff game.  And an extra home game gate.

Get hot late, and you have a chance to go all the way.

Playoff clinching will happen very early.

No issues with this at all.

Could be good, it's still sudden death, one loss and you're out, no second chances.  The bad teams are unlikely to upset the league leaders but QB health could become a critical factor, having a capable backup that can actually win games becomes more important.

Except for the top 4 teams who get a second game regardless of winning/losing the first round.

The 1 vs. 2 is not sudden death, loser gets a second game, at home.  Winner gets a bye.

So you can't knock the top team in each division out of the playoffs game one.

And, they can get a rematch as well.  Can even be a home and home if the #2 wins the Showdown.

Dream scenario, gate wise.

SSK wins the W, WPG is #2

SSK loses that home game, WPG gets a bye and a home game.  SSK faces the winner of 7 vs. 6.  If they win, they face WPG in WPG.

SSK gets a home game against WPG, WPG gets a home game against SSK.

That's two big paydays for the clubs.
