Agreed its not up to TSN its up to Zach however it wasn't just Milt that said it and O'Shea's comments suggested it might be worse than normal the way he commented. The Bigger Issue is if the Bombers Oline and Protections Schemes of the OC can't protect Zach this will just continue.

I didn't get that from his video on the bb site.  It was more of the normal "no one gives me updates this soon after a game" schtick.  Was there something else that makes you think otherwise?  The 'OB interview?

The hit didn't look more extreme than any of the others that have knocked him out of games and it certainly wasn't brutal.  Incidental (as in it didn't look intentional and was not spearing) helmet to helmet contact, a bit of whiplash action, a sideways collision with the turf but no bounce, and yet he laid there motionless for at least 20 seconds, so some part of that ride knocked him out cold.

Without Zach this team won't even make playoffs.

Bomber Diehard

I often wonder why Zach doesn't get out of the pocket and move around.

It's not up to us but I also think he should retire immediately. His long term health is more important. Knocked out of 3 games in 2025 and forced to miss another game. We don't even know if he'll be " cleared " to play this week and that would be the final straw IMO.

Thanks for all the games but agree to be placed on 6 game IR and call it a career.

Rather than calling for QB's to retire, be it in Wpg or Sask, how about we penalize the plays that cause it? That wasn't even a 25 yarder, why wouldn't teams continue to do those? I predict we'll have the same discussion when let's say someone decides Sask is beatable without Harris and does something about it. Or maybe it will be Dru Brown, but the end is the same, lower quality football.

As far as our oline I see our players in almost every game on tv playing for someone else, I wonder if we could have a better oline with the players we lost than the ones we have left. Here's a radical theory: instead of paying big for running backs or recievers we put the money into the oline. Maybe it's Zach with the clean jersey instead of Harris.

I believe Milt over reacted their a bit but so did other panel members
They called for the exact same thing in 2019, more so even.

That was a ferocious hit. Blind sided and unprepared he went sideways about 5 yards. NO ONE is getting up from that. I'll wait and see but I have been saying he's lost something off his arm anyway and I do think it's time, not because of the hit though it certainly doesn't help. More concerning to me is that the Bombers have no succession plan. Strev has been winning at about .500 which is were we stand right now anyway.

I was of the personal opinion that Zach should retire long before he became a Bomber. Multiple, consecutive whole seasons lost due to officially diagnosed concussions, not "neck injuries".

Then he had an entire Hall of Fame career with us afterwards.

I have no opinion other than I hope the best for Zach and his family and will be glad to have him as our QB for as long as he chooses to play.

I think Milton over reacted for sure. If you look at the hit, reavis didn't drill him with his helmet directly, there was contact, but he basically hit him in the chest and their helmets did make contact but it wasn't a direct headshot. I honestly think he ll play this week.

But if he has true concussion symptoms of the head aches and sick to his stomach, then I'd agree with milt, pack it in already, you owe this team and us fans nothing, don't compromise your long term quality of life for a couple more football games, go on the 6 game IR and cash out and thanks for the last 5 years!!

Sir Blue and Gold

He's done. Someone needs to have the conversation with him. Been saying this all season. It's not just the injury concern, it's the pricetag for the production. It's not there anymore. He had a great game on Labour Day but there are far more valleys and middling performances than there are peaks.

He's our best chance this year but let's roll the dice with Wilson next week and start looking at what we can do for 2026.

Well, Milt is correct. Concussions are cumulative. Zac's brain was battered when he came here, and now it must be one big bruise. It's time to start planning for the future.

Drugs contract in Ottawa has to be over soon.
Calgarys back up looks like he should be a starter
Arbuckle is competent, and shouldn't play second string to Kelly. Or more likely, Kelly will just start no matter what, and Arbuckle should be relegated to the bench.

The o-line is extremely bad. Just watch it.  They really don't pass block but rather are just run by, and are like turnstiles.

Upon reflection, the Bombers have lost I would guess it's five former players who went elsewhere for more money. The contracts are not guaranteed, regarding Schoen, who'll be a free agent anyway, Stan is old age home retiree material. In some other cases, some DNs are just plain overpaid, and should not be professionals. They can't tackle.

We are overdue for other catastrophic injuries. Zac, Brady, Stan, Demski

The bottom line is that by overpaying some aging vets, other progressing guys ( o line, Lawler) the team is stuck, without going over the cap.

In any event, a new QB is needed. The best guy is Fajardo. Times will be a changing.  Lots of soon to be guys on the ring of fame, or whatever it's called. Thanks for the memories.

I didn't think that was a severe hit. It was on a QB with a concussion injury history and that's the issue. Penalty yes, 25 yard penalty I don't agree.

I don't think the decline in his arm as big of factor as some make it out to be.  Was slinging pretty well before went out, the corner for me is healthy and ints.

Sun hasn't set yet and we are not as doomed as you make it out to be.  I believe that when some posters see weakness over issues they get a little head of themselves on the negative side.  But that's your opinion and it's welcome here.

Saying we were overdue for injuries to our stars is a bit stretch imo.  Calling some of our players none professionals isn't true.

Yes need to plan for life after Zach.

Pass on Cody but he has soon very well as of late.  Just not a big fan.

I guess we won't agree on that. A pro ball player unblocked is like being hit by a truck. Add to that being 100% unprepared.

I attach pic to show that he really did go sideways about 5 yards. He was planted to throw on the hash mark.

whole hit in slowmo:
