I was thinking of making a poll on this but this will work

I believe Milt over reacted their a bit but so did other panel members

My response is similar to MOS, concern about the person at the moment.

Get the medical info and make an informed decision on your health at that point which would include a risk assessment

I sure hope he is OK and can be healthy even for a season or two.

My concern for Zach is his neck 1st but hard to ignore the concussion risk.  A tough night and difficult and complex decision.  I think he just does what he has his entire life, bounce back. Positive vibes in hard times.

I think having a Rookie OC is part of the problem , I remember when Paul Lapo joined the Bombers watching the Bombers practice he was constantly working on Protections for the QB quick plays etc and under Buck there was less focus on that and with the New OC it seems even less. Without a proper Offensive Scheme to start with protecting the QB you are asking for your QB to get hit more than they should. The combination of the decline of talent on the OL and the inexperience of the OC it a recipe for the QB to get hurt and now this is the 3rd time this season Zach hasn't been able to finish the game. And its also clear the Bombers are not prepared when they 2nd string QB comes into the game. If it was up to me I would replace the OC with Jackson and they don't even have to tell anyone if they want to save face. If Zach can't continue that would be very unfortunate he was playing very prior to the 2 INTs and the keep shot, but we don't have a QB on the Roster than can come close to replacing Zach. It going to be touch to watch from here on if Zach isn't to play...

I don't think todays injury is a neck injury, I agree I am concerned with Zach's health as well. Zach was amazing in 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 ( regular season only in  ( 2021 , 2022, 2023 ) however in 2024 and 2025 Zach isn't the same player and i don't blame him for all of the decline part of it is on the OC's buck and the current OC an as well a big decline in the Oline play.

Zach lives and dies on the back of his OL which has under preformed, had injuries and hasn't been consistent
Keep Hogan
Get healthy on the OL
Rejig the play book
Learn from mistakes
Brady bully ball cures many problems
We live or die with Zach

Agree likely head but worried aggravate neck as well, tbh
Tough spot
A good OL is the pillar of any club

I literally laughed when I heard OShea say he was concerned about zach the person, is he concerned the same way he was for schoen?? That's 2 weeks in a row we ve watched players careers end.

Oline is only part of he problem the OC is also responsible for protecting the QB !

For sure they do yes, schemes play a role
I believe primary concern on O is the OL, key to our success

Yes for sure our OL is a concern however I am not sure how much blame should be on the OC we can only speculate because we don't know what is being Coached / Taught vs the execution, however I strongly suspect with an Rookie OC that more of the blame would be on the OC.

OL needs to be above average for Zach, it's been average at best
My key pillar for our club

I agree but lets not forget that its not all on the Oline the Role of the OC in the protection of the QB.

The protection of the QB relies on a complex set of factors primary one for me is OL, RB, FB, coaching, schemes, receiver blocking, match ups etc.

Zach's not retiring unless Zach says he's retiring.  To say otherwise is ridiculous.  If we just "cut" him somehow, he'd be starting on another team tomorrow.  A team that had a top-notch backup, or one whose main QB is long-term IR, would love to have him.  Play him until he takes a hit then play your good backup.

Also, a team with a great OL would also love to have him.

My guess is it's more of the same: he'll sit next week for precaution, then be fine the week after.  However, I haven't watched the hit on TV yet... I may change my mind if this is the worst hit yet this season.  Keep in mind him leaving means nothing: WFC & Zach always have him leave when he takes a sizable head hit.
Never go full Rider!

Can't argue with anything here nicely said
