First - Osh - I was at a dinner where he was speaking to a smallish crowd, and it was awesome - he really kept the room engaged, even for people that aren't that into football.  I could probably think of good questions and have a fun discussion with him for a long time.

I too would love to sit & listen to MOS.  What I meant was more that he'd hate me and my DT-like mind and questions!  He get as curt with me as he does DT.

And that's ok, if there's one thing football has taught me is that it "takes all types".  Fat guys, tiny guys, tall guys, strong guys, skinny guys, smart guys, dumb guys.  There's a place for basically everyone if you have game.  And there's a place in fandom for nerd guys & jock guys.  Though some of the jock guys sometimes forget and think they're still in junior high  :D  :D  ... That whole "you can't be a real fan because you never played" schtick.

The CFL needs to open up more & market to the DT-like nerds because if you look at today's kids, the vast majority are more nerdy, and jocks are an endangered species.  Part of why many HS football programs are struggling.

I'm pretty sure that's a radio thing.  They have to fill in the time with the limited content, especially when coming up to a commercial or interview.  He also may be talking while being fed info in his headset on what's coming up next.  It's actually not easy, and not every radio person can do it as well as the next.  Makes me pine for Ponticelli on Rider Radio (yes, green, but oooh sooo smooooth)...

That is so true.  The variance by crew is annoying.  The more "cheating" teams can then push the boundary more when they get the no-flag crew.  SSK is definitely the more-cheating more-holding team.  Always has been.

I did like that the refs caught most of SSK's cheating on ST though!  They didn't hold back flagging those.

I wonder if, in addition to getting the "wrong crew", crews treat LDCs (and other "big name" games like BB) like the post-season and do more of "just let them play".

I love the subtle MOS digs against the greenies.  True or not.  Funny.  LOL
