The Zipp

PJ can sling it...prob like Terry Wilson can..this is likely what we would get with him.  good  strong throws and bad picks

Redblacks playing well and have a lead late in the first half. I'm surprised. Go RBs Go! LOL!
Go Bombers!

Brown looking pretty good. A generally good Calgary D looked like our secondary on that last TD. Adams is much better than PJ Walker although at least one incompletion was on the receiver.

Strevy

Brown is 100x better than Zach.  They set the club back 5+ years by letting him go.  Huge mistake.

Call me crazy, but is Glenn Suitor actually providing some decent commentary and analysis this game?

I don't recall ever enjoying listening to Suitor (that's putting it mildly), yet today he's showing how the D coverage is breaking down, etc.

I think he's actually contributing instead of finding some random topic to muse upon for multiple series (ignoring what's going on in the game at the time), or cheerleading for the riders.

The Zipp

calgary goes for it on a questionable call and penalty bails them out.

The Zipp

ball don't lie

guy that took the penalty - makes a play and picks it off

The Zipp

flag fest is bailing everyone out...calgary makes a pick and penalty overturns it.

I know everyone has said to ignore this type of commentary, but really - how does anyone actually post this and hope to be taken seriously?

I hope Brown has a successful and long career (except against us, unless he someday plays for us again).  At the time he left, there is no way any sane person could argue he was the better qb.

I think Brown would look different with our receivers, O-line and OC. And not in a good way.

He knows the game, that's not the knock on him, it's the meandering all over the place often on non-football topics. He has a knack for stating the obvious and he often fails to pay enough attention to know what's going on. For example, his bewilderment on the offside call against Calgary when Brown knew he had a free shot and threw a pick. Everyone knew Calgary had jumped, except him. He's brutal.

Thank you - you stated that much better than I had.  That's a perfect summary of what I've noticed for the part of the game I've been watching tonite - not stating the obvious and being aware of what is going on in the game more than I've noticed in the past.

If you watch that play with Orimolade, he moved prior to the snap but did not seem to actually move his feet into the one yard restraining zone. Suitor looked at the replay, and said "he definitely moved", but he's not an o-lineman, he can move as long as he stays one yard off the ball. Not sure what's going through Suitor's mind sometimes. IMO he's the worst of Ford, LaPolice and Dunigan, who I miss.

Couldn't agree more with the last sentence - LaPo is awesome for breakdown and education.  Dunigan I miss terribly, and Ford - well, he's not Suitor.

Has anyone heard anything about Dunigan yet?
