I thought the roughing the passer call at the end was weak.

Ottawa D played well, although they did t cover lawler on the winning td, which was odd. Bo.... Missed a few. Dru .... Must be disappointed with his own play, Ottawa o line is not the best.

An ok, not  great game.

Dru Brown and the Ottaw Redblacks snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.  So far, Brown has shown himself to be no more than an average starter.

Dyce should probably be fired at this point, but Ottawa will probably wait until it's too late.

He should have been fired attend of last season, now his team is 1-5, but still in the playoff hunt

He ll get another week but at 1-6 or 1-7, the trigger must be pulled before they drop out of playoff contention. They have Campbell on staff who was their HC so it's not like they don't have options. But even with that they need a change in leadership in that clubhouse

The RB's played decently tonight, didn't see anything that should cost anyone their jobs, Ti-Cats are establishing themselves as a competitive team.  Pimpleton had a very unfortunate night, he had a return TD called back on penalty and fumbled a punt deep in his own end.

On the challenged KR TD, if Dyce had won, OTT could have challenged back that the RET did a stiff-arm FM on the cover guy right after the IB.  The FM made the cover guy, who had hands on him, fall down.

Would have loved to see that!  Dueling challenges.  I think I've only seen that once?

P.S. Command got this right.  It was close, but you don't have to use your hands to commit IB, and it was right at the point of attack.

JA had probably his worst game as a "starter".  Basically useless.  Some blame on the OL, but it can't all be.  JA should stick to what he does best: be a "free dress" (and inexpensive) backup RB.

So far it looks like we made the right choice swapping for Peterson with HAM.

Quote from: dd on July 12, 2025, 11:59:54 PMNice drop Kenny!!!

Little mental whiffs.  He had a lot of those for us in 2024.  He's a weird guy.  He'll make the greatest catches and have 200Y 2-3TD games, then have games filled with oopsies and heels-on-lines.

Usually only QBs are "good <name> bad <name>", but Kenny shows it can be a REC too.  Weird.  If he was a $150k it would be fine, but he's a $300k.  A top-3 REC is supposed to be near 90%, not 50%.

Ya, in total he did better in this game than not, but the point remains.

BLM is quite the enigma.  He has these MOP games then has pedestrian, or even bad, ones.  He was perfectly dialed in in the last game, but then in this game he's overthrowing everyone again.  Kenny saved him on a couple, but couldn't on some others.

Look at all his misses today: all overthrows.

He may be the most frustrating QB to pick in fantasy.

Blue In BC

Dyce mentioned that he was forced to play some players due to the significant number of injuries on the roster. In fact I think he suggested some might even have been released if not required to back fill injuries. His point being that some players continue to take stupid after the play penalties, selfishly.

That said, I wonder where the line might be drawn on Dyce being fired as HC. Losing is not all on him but a change might still be needed before it's too late.
One game at a time.

There were some quite bad Ottawa O line whiffs. Some of those players do not play like a CFL player at all.

Sask Oline  is pretty bad too.

Bombers O line may not be what it once was, but it's still up there I think

Love the guy but Dyce isn't HC material, IMO.
