The fact the there's 14 games left and we're still "saving" our call ups (not bringing anyone up for the current road trip), means we're probably not making use of them until we are mathematically eliminated.

Jets 67 points
Blues 65
Rangers 64
Blackhawks 64
Flames 61
Canucks 50.

Game had some very competitive moments and gotta admit it was entertaining despite the loss.
Can't wait for Arniel to start using his bench differently
Get Scheif and Connor outta the 21-24 minute range and use
the other 3 lines more. Perhaps that will get them into being
plus players instead of minus at game end.
Same for JMo, who is our best offensively but is not a solid defensive performer.
Noted: DeMelo was under 12 minutes yesterday

Demelo was benched for the whole 1st period after single-handedly allowing the first 2 goals in the first 2 minutes of the game. Was on the 3rd pairing once the 2nd period started.

The team was terrible for the first 5 minutes of the game. Helle lets in 3 goals he normally stops. But, then was outstanding in the OT. The team didn't play well in OT and are terrible in shoot outs.

Happily the ending in Madison Sq. was fitting.
Good team game with decent pressure at times. The defensive work with .Com, was very cohesive

Pigskin

Comrie was outstanding. Boy's are hitting a lot of goal posts lately. Nice to see AL17 finally get one.

Jets are committed to not tanking and to give it their all until they are mathematically out. Aside from Sheiffle and Connor, there is no offensive push from this team, we are clearly a bottom half team with no offensive depth. Our top 6 is really a top 2.

Did you forget Gabe Vilardi exists? He's such an underrated forward. He's got some of the sickest mitts in the game, IMO.

The Jets' top line is outstanding but the lack of a second line is going to dog this team until that deficiency is addressed. I think that lack of an established top 6 also hinders the bottom 6, and puts too much pressure on the third and fourth lines.

Is Demelo okay? He's had a miserable season.
"I know why you seek solitude."

I think he's just peaked and is on his way down. He should be playing lower in the line up with sheltered minutes next season once Solmonsson takes his job.
