Big test for the Jets tonight. The NYI have been a pretty good team this year.

Checked and see that I. Phillips got into only 56 games
with Chicago spread over 4 seasons.
Nice size and good stats with Moose

Three in a row. MS55 a plus 2 tonight. lol. Great start, crappy 2:30 in the second period. But, the boy settled down and got there game back on track. Nice win.

Hilarious that they blew a 3-0 lead. The last time they strung together three wins was back at the beginning of the season.

That's not how ya tank! ;)

Congrats to Scheifele on getting his 500th assist last night.

Ray of hope... ready to be snatched out from under you...

Bowness back in the league is kind of a dis on the team.  I get it, sitting on the couch or being a talking head isn't the same as running a team, but still, second coach to quit on this team in recent years and then miraculously decide they want to coach again.
Unabashed positron.  Blue koolaid in my fridge.  I wear my blue sunglasses at night.  Homer, d'oh.

No, it isn't.

And don't try and conflate this development with what Maurice did. He didn't retire, anyway.

D Pionk out, listed week-to-week

The blue line's sure beat up lately. Should hopefully be a good opportunity for some prospects, though.

JockitchwithRich

Yes, Miller, Fleury and now Pionk

Feel It was great that Salomonsson, who got recalled, got some action earlier in season. Phillips, if he gets in, has 56 games under his blades.  Just saying that our defence shouldn't be so much worse.

Pigskin

Crazy schedule.  Jets @ Wild (15th), Leaf's @ Jets (17th), Jets @ Blackhawks (19th), Blues @ Jets (20th).

It's fun watching the wins but it feels bittersweet, I guess? We were out of the play-offs before the losing streak and even if we won 11 straight to balance it out, we'd still be out of a playoff spot.

I hope we're massive sellers at the deadline.
My wife is amazing!

This team seems to have finally found its depth offense, which is good. Defensively, though, they're still pretty bad.

And then you look at the standings: they're still second last in the entire league. Worse off than that disastrous 2021-22 campaign.

They gotta be sellers at the deadline. Embrace the tank, look ahead to next season, and land that high draft pick.

Looks like F Barron will return to the lineup tonight, and D Salomonsson will suit up alongside D Samberg.

projected lines/pairings vs. MIN
Connor – Scheifele – Iafallo
Perfetti – Toews – Vilardi
Niederreiter – Lowry – Namestnikov
Koepke – Barron – Pearson

Morrissey – DeMelo
Samberg – Salomonsson
Stanley – Schenn

First 10 minutes and our boys, other than HellB, were easily a step or two behind the Wild. Wowee how things changed

Chances and finish had our lads with 6 after the 2nd.
Then we tended to play a very smart defensive 3rd.

Note: first game, I believe, where only JMo played over 20 minutes and that everyone played more than 10 minutes.

They're still second last in the NHL.

And who doesn't love a good beatdown of the Mild - in their own barn?

Also, congrats to Toews on getting his 900th point last night on the game's opening goal.
