The highs and lows of the nhl. We rode the high last year finishing in first place and helley getting his awards , and I expected some fall off but last place?!? We only lost Eihlers from last years team and replaced him with nothing and then helley got hurt and boom hello last place

Lost Ehlers and gained Toews... a C face off man that has really stepped in well.

The Jets went from 4th in GF last season to 22nd this season. Outside of the top line, this team can't score goals. The depth offense is basically non-existent right now.

I know I'm later to the tank party than most but the Leafs loss was my last straw. Thought maybe the Christmas break would do them good but they failed even more miserably after that, and then I gave them 2026 proper to turn it around and in that very first game we go up 4-1 and - in the most epic collapse I can even remember watching this team - LOSE! And in regulation, to boot! Message received.

Now hopefully we don't win another game all season and get a first overall so we can rejig and come back next year while we still have the Core Four of 55/37/81/44 locked in.

Just not good enough. Multiple good chances in OT with zero results.

Chevy hasn't gotten the team a decent, drive the play centre, since perhaps Brian Little and he was with Atlanta to begin with.

GV13 is a big part of this team and is locked in for another 5 years.

I sure hope Fleury is alright. That incident was scary in of itself, but worse considering he just returned from a concussion.

They're doing a terrific job of tanking as is. Shipping out the useless vets would improve the chances of actually winning a game.

I'm more concerned about giving prospects a look while also moving away useless veteran weight for picks. There's no point holding onto guys like Namestnikov, Schenn, Miller, etc.

Calling up some young guns won't improve this team's chances of winning, IMO.
