Fetts due back mid November. Lowry by the end of the month or early November. That's not good news for two players currently with the Jets.

Just saw the highlights on TSN. Looks like both goalies were outstanding. JT19 gets his first goal. Another good road win.

Toews has been getting better with each game, so it's not a surprise he finally found the back of the net last night.

Scheifele now tied for the league lead in goals(7); he's playing some monstrous hockey.

Great comeback win.

It's working out better than I expected, but the ever present risk is that he won't be there when the games start to matter. Fingers crossed.

While the sample size is small, his upward trajectory thus far should be cause for some optimism. 1G, 3A, 63.5% FO, and 20% SA in 6 GP are impressive stats in light of his health issues that caused him to miss two years. He seems to improve with every game he plays.

Age is obviously not on his side but if there's a veteran player who knows how to show up when the games matter, it's him.

Yeah, it's just the length of the season I'm worried about. I'd have the same concerns about any player his age plus the health issues, plus the not playing since 2023.

But, just gonna enjoy the ride.
