Not much defense in this game. 89 points scored in this one.

Did I miss a TD? Lawler with 3 and Grant with 1.
One game at a time.

DCM

When did Grant score a TD? I don't see him on the box score.

Wooden had the kick off return TD.

Big difference in this year's Argos vs last is Jake ceros a and brinkmanship are gone from the Argo D line.mthose 2 had a monster game pressuring Collaros into many mistakes and pick sixes. Without those 2, and McManis being injured, the Argos D is night and day different.

Highly entertaining game. Is Punchable face happy?

Sorry, I lost track. You're right, 4 TDs between them.

Kickoff at the 8:00 mark of the 3rd quarter on a reverse.
Go Bombers!

Quote from: markf on July 05, 2025, 01:52:02 AMWhat happens to a player like Bo, what changes when he's on like this?

BLM must have a crazy brain.  For so many years he has no accuracy, especially depth-wise, for like 70% of games.  Then there's the 30% of games where the neural links start working properly.  It's either all on, or all off.  It's like Good Glenn or Bad Glenn, but more magnified.

It certainly helps that he has Kenny now.  Maybe it's a rhythm thing, and the first couple of great connections to Kenny get BLM into a groove.

The key, of course, is him being ON more than OFF, which heretofore has eluded him.

Quote from: J5V on July 05, 2025, 02:06:17 AMSure is. It's like a heavyweight boxing match where they keep trading haymakers. :-)

This is what the 2nd half of our game should have looked like.  TOR O never gave up (even though their D went to sleep for half the game).

I'm not sure why we could never have an answer like TOR did.  I mean clearly HAM went into prevent D much sooner than CGY did, but still.

Oh ya, and sucks for TOR to have more HAM fans in the stands in the 2nd H than TOR fans.  The noise was totally favoring HAM and causing those IPs on the 2PAT.

Quote from: J5V on July 05, 2025, 01:42:08 AMI somewhat doubt Dinwiddie would lose his job without his #1 QB playing

Dinwiddie will get about as much leeway as MOS at this point.  2 GCs in 2 appearances in 3 years.  And by that I meant "as much leeway as he wants".

And everyone knows TOR is faltering because of the QB.  Heck, they are still doing ok even without Kelly, even if the W/L record isn't great.

The D today is like "meh, Kelly ain't here we don't have a chance we won't try".  Strangely, the O had more confidence in Arbuckle.

The thing with Dinwiddie is he's not a quiet stand-back the-locker-will-sort-itself-out MOS-type.  He won't accept bad play, and he will go full Kavis if he has to.

I saw a podcast interview with Dinwiddie last season, he's got a miserable/disgruntled personality that is difficult to work with, sounded like he would drop his HC job in an instant if he could get a good coaching position down south either in college or the NFL. For that to happen a coach generally needs to be likeable, have a good record plus connections to get his foot in the door.

Man, the Argos a lousy team this season.

I like it.
