Wilson with another whale of a game

Some suggested he was slowing down and worried and him getting injured. So far so good, always been a huge fan.

I see some were a little critical of our D on the thread. I thought overall we played pretty good with some mistakes along the way. Not as strong as our 1st two games but I see a lot to like here.

Jake is not embarrassing at all to watch. Has started for us for years, rotated and is a good depth Canadian DL at the end of a good career. I prefer to show respect for our players. I wouldn't suspect you would say that his face. I don't personally believe in name calling of any player in this league.

Brinkman I know less about but is very good. Jake Ceresna is one of the best in the biz with NFL experience, comparing him to Thomas is not fair imo.

ceresna is one of the best...it would be like comparing to willie J and saying they are embarrassing. there are spots for all types of players and roles on a team. every team isn't stacked with all stars and HOF players - it's a mix and our team with thomas is 3-0...Ceresna's team 0-3. it is a long season though...

tyrell Ford - invisible all game. not mentioned once, not sure if he had any stats at all.

Brinkman and Ceresna are impact interior lineman that at the top end of the spectrum, while jacob is at the bottom. Didn't call him any names, just saying watching him waddle around the field is embarassing, and it is. You watch Brinkman and Cersna bring pressure every play and push the line back, and thomas is trailing about 8 yds behind every play. just calling it the way it is.

Yes those guys are studs
Disagree that Jake is trailing 8 yards on each play
He gets pressure on QB on occasion, pushes back the OL and sometimes get double teamed
Jake is not embarrassing, he is a decent veteran Canadain depth player who is steady and consistent
I don't agree with the language you are using to describe a valued member of this team and community
I believe that if you wouldn't use that language in person with the player than you shouldn't use it behind a keyboard
It's ok for us to have a different opinion on Jake, but there are ways and language to discuss him that are more respectful and appropriate imo Those two studs are not a fair comparison to Jake imo
There is a Thomas thread, we can debate him there

Ya, like Loffler did on Begelton yet they flagged that. There's been a ton of helicopter hits this season so far, and not one flag.

The offseason new rule this year was you can't hit REC lower legs during the reception... BUT only when the REC hasn't jumped. Since most RECs jump most of the time when not in stride (a zone sit), many (most?) catches won't have the new protection.

I wonder if the new rule is actually making DBs hit jumping RECs harder? It seems like the helicopter violence is increased this year. Hmmm.

Yes, it looks ugly, and would seem to increase concussion and neck injuries, so one would wonder why they didn't include some sort of jumping-leg-hit rule in the off-season.

The club really should tell people this before the games (or maybe I missed the email again). I wonder how many of tailgate-enterers missed out completely?

My kids have been going to a lot of pool parties since this game and they use the towels every time, people are impressed! Free advertising! And 100% cotton, WFC didn't cheap out on these things.
