MBT gone to the 6 game and Als sign Dukes

Hahahahahah.  Good luck with that.

HAM is gonna walk away with 1st place by default, with hamstrung powerhouses TOR & MTL floundering.  Then Kelly/Alexander back for post-season and they wipe the floor with HAM.

It would be hilarious if OTT sneaks into the 3rd playoff spot and TOR is left out in the cold with a sudden re-healthy Kelly!  Or we finally get the elusive East->West crossover.

People called Stanley Bryant a bust his first season with us because it's pretty impossible to be good when the line around you stinks. The OL has to be built as a single unit and it's been a  rotating cast all season.

Yes, but I posit that Vant-Ko-Neuf are a solid core to the corps (hehe).

As for constant change, ya that's hurting us every week.  We need some continuity finally, with our desired starters hopefully.

Heckard IMP 5'10 190lb looks heavy.  I don't think he played even a snap.  Probably just insurance.  SSK DB corps looks pretty good so far, and has stayed mostly healthy.

Could always bring him in on ELC straight to 6GIR and get him to spill the beans on SSK.  They'll end up being a main rival this season, and we don't really have any dirt on Mace's schemes yet.

I think there's a 0.000001% chance (or less!) Mafia looks at him.

Almost. He was going to be demoted in any case. He's past the cut date for veterans and he does have an actual injury to his right elbow according to some posters.

So the CFLPA set a criteria that forces him onto the 6 game IR. It's different than if he was not injured and they choose to do that to avoid SMS. It was their only option once they reached a point that he couldn't be released.

Yah, don't think the 6 game is ever used to stash players to save their SMS hit, unlike the 1 game were the CFL is willing to turn a blind eye.  The player has to agree to being placed on the 6 game and the CFLPA would back him up if the injury claim was false.  It also means they can't practice with the team, I guess they could hang around and pretend they're still part of the team, but what's the point?

I believe an outspoken player like MBT might demand a trade or go directly to the press if the Als tried to moth ball him for the remainder of the season. A few other teams could benefit from having him on their team (notably Stamps + Lions) so I think his career as as a backup QB is far from over.
