It will be nice to get back into PAS for some football. Like to see Wilson get at least a full half of playing time. I have a lot of interest in our 2025 draft class. For a lot players this might be there only shot at making the team.

I think Wilson gets a half only if Strevy is unable to go, if healthy gets he'll get the majority of snaps as he's been out for a while and is our #2 Qb and he needs to get ready for Game #1

Yes, that's exactly what it means!   :P

After watching the 1st half of the BC game, huge hits on sacks; I really don't want Zach playing much.  And if he is playing, I want the desired-starters OL protecting him.  Heck, I may want to protect Strev a bit too.  Let's mostly play the "expendables" -- we need to decide who to keep, anyhow.

The PS OLs are often stinky, have no cohesion, and so the DLs can just be mavericks trying to score stats.

I don't see the point of playing Zach at all since he can't participate until game two, almost a month away. The only worry is the rust he showed early last year. Not sure how to address that since it will be a big gap in time between games even if he plays in either preseason. Likely MOS says he doesn't need the work and we have the familiar and reliable Schoen back so that can only help.

I still think our starters, including Zach, should get decent preseason time. MOS doesn't really buy into that though.

Disagree, check out the next gen, allow minimal reps for vets simple to warm up a bit before it actually counts is how I would do it.

Chance of injury too great to give starters decent preseason time.

MOS explicitly said last season that having the stars ignore PS was a mistake and (partically) cost us all those early games.  As such I think all healthy stars/starters will get series in the PS games.  Even Zach.

I think we give Zach 1-2 series on Sat.  Many of the starters and for-sure-cuts probably won't even be brought to the @SSK game, so this may be the only chance.

We just have to keep Zach clean, and pull him if the OL is majorly bad (i.e. 2-4 desired starters not playing).  Can do run-mostly and quick pass to help out.

I've also heard MOS laugh off the idea that we have slow starts or that our players are "rusty".

You never know with MOS.

Seems like a stunt to make by Mace to make headlines about Mace but we'll see how many WWE penalties the Riders get this year and if it will remain number one. Ultimately that's the proof point that matters.
