Fun interview.  If you didn't watch: he punted a bit in college, and may be our disaster-strikes backup punter.  I also like the story about the soccer shirt, though I won't tell it to you: watch the video!

I really like Adams from what I've seen on-field, both inside and outside the whistles.

I've mentioned it before: I'm always in the stands with about 60 mins before KO, with my binocs.  I watch the warm-ups and the pep talks and the huddles, etc.  Adams is always one of the most hyped up guys, always hyping up other guys, bounding with energy.  If he's not a leader yet, he may become a good one in the future.

He does the same during games.

With Lawson back, does Adams ever start or is he going to be a DI (or non-starting non-DI IMP)?  We could conceivably have Lawson/Fatboi co-start at one spot and Adams at the other, with one of Lawson/Fatboi subbing in at either spot for freshness.

I really hope Adams keeps progressing.  He has the right attitude (as seen in this vid too!).  He could be a legit starter.  Ideally maybe he becomes just shy of an all-star (so he doesn't get poached), or he becomes and all-star right after we sign him to a 2 or 3 year deal  ;)

Really liked Adams last season although I am worried he doesn't have the chops vs the run, which is something the Bombers tend to value much more than pass rushing ability from their DTs

The DT's are constantly rotating, even more so than the DE's, no one DT is going to lock down a spot, the 2 DT positions are ideally shared between 4 players.  Right now Jake, Lawson, Woods and Adams are the perceived incumbents, but much can happen in the next few weeks.

I meant more in terms of are we locking both DT spots as NAT starters (for the ratio).  That has rotation and DI implications.

It appeared both this season and last that we want/wanted to go 2-NAT DT for the ratio.

Interesting point.  I hadn't paid much attention.  Does he have trouble shedding blocks/holds?

You'd think with his body type (beast!) he'd be as good as Nevis/Stove against the run.  I'll try to pay more attention to his in-whistle run-stop play this season.
