OK so EDM is Raping and pillaging and we seem to be doing very little?? even though the coach said that he would probably name an OC before free agency still nothing named ? Any news on where Kenny Law is at is he coming back or are we gonna lose him like the Ford guy? I wish Kyle W would make some big splashes and not this wait and see approach

I am sure Walters is matching any offer that's out there for Lawler. Walters had no chance with Ford. He was going to play with his brother.

I like what Kyle has done so far.

Are you even watching? EDM had no where to go but up, and while they are signing players, they will lose some too. We've addressed holes by signed a DE, Returner, WR away from other teams, and kept most of our own that we wanted.

Kenny just needs respect, and KW coming within 30k of any other offer. Kenny learned from his bail-to-EDM mistake and has spoken about it at length. He won't bail again just for a tiny difference.

Let's say someone is crazy enough to offer him $280 (again). Then we offer $250 and it's a done deal.

What might be taking a while is it would be really nice to start nailing some of these top guys to 2-year contracts... '26 is going to be a terrible FA with all the contracts expiring after the home GC.

I am not sure of your logic. While I do like your opinions, I would love to agree with you. However, if simply matching Any offer Lawler gets, is the amswer( which as I said, I would love to agree with you) then let's do it.
Lawler is the best receiver

Well, it's been reported that the Bombers have been told Kenny is moving on. So either we are not offering anything close or he's bailing for the highest bidder again.

They did but I've lost track on whether they re-negotiated in the same way they did with Hatcher.

Rhymes is reported to be going to the Stamps.

There figures to be some bargains once the dust settles. Hamilton and Edmonton can't have much left to spend. Stressful to lose guys right now though. Walters has been through this before, I trust him.

Sure but bargains are more for back up depth. Walters said he'd be more active in free agency and we did pick up some decent players. There are still some very good players that we might be interested in but what the SMS cost is and whether they are interested in moving to Winnipeg IDK.

Gone: O.Wilson, Lawler, Woli, Dobson ( reportedly ), Haba, Garbutt, Bighill and Ford. Also lost a few players that were mostly on the PR, last year.

I'm not panicking but that's a lot of talent to replace. Walters might still make a big splash somewhere on the roster but the clock is ticking somewhat as choices are agreeing on other destinations. That said, we don't know WHO he might have been targeting or whether they are still available.
