Flying out on Thursday.
Our group may have an extra room reservation at Sutton place. (2 bedroom suite)
PM if interested.
Looking forward hearing where the Bomber house will be this year...great times there last time around.
I'd rather be a Bomber than a .....

Me & both kids are going.  Will be my daughter's first.  She's still very young, but it'll be warm indoors, so I think we'll be ok.

I was going no matter who was going to be in it, but I'm super extra happy we'll be watching Blue & Gold and not Green!

P.S. I'll vouch for Sutton hotel.  Superb property chain.  I'll be at the Fairmont this time.  I'm hoping maybe there'll be a team (ours?) staying there!

See y'all in the rain!

Being a Bomber fan isn't your biggest hobby?!  ;D  ;D  ;D  :P  :P

It sure is heck is mine!  Well, not by $$, but certainly by time!  Although... add up all the CFL trips since 2019... maybe it is also by $$  (yikes!)

I've never been to BC Place.  Always close, but never inside.  So stoked to finally take in a game there.  And a WFC-in-a-cup game!!  Dreams are made of this.

Looking at flight options...not much out there!
Glad I booked early in the year.
Anyone finding any affordable options?  Have a few friends looking.

I love reading these stories from people going but holy cow is it depressing - gah, wish I was there!!

At least next year I will be able to take it all in.

my feelings the same. I know EZ 10-12 people either there now or are leaving tomorrow. GOLD MEMBER feels left off the wagon. :'(

Regardless I look forward to a Cup win Sunday.

City buzzing now.  Finally lots of jerseys out in the crowd.  We spotted every team except OTT and MTL represented.  I talked with a bunch of fans, the consensus is MTL is too depressed to show up.   :D  :D  :D  :D

I'm sure we'll see some before the end...  SSK certainly is out in force!

Kids section of the convention center is a big hit.

My daughter dancing like a maniac at the bandstand was the biggest hit of all.

Weirdest thing is, I've had 6 people so far with various jerseys (or not) tell me they are ex-WPGers.  Living in BC, or AB.  You'd swear this place was filled with them!

Heading there tomorrow and going to TD Manitoba tomorrow night. I'll be wearing my #48 Schnitzer jersey and black Bonfire hat if you want to say hi, I'd love to meet y'all.

Hopefully TD MB has ping pong and bean bag toss again!  ;)

Although you will be indoors, BC Place is not heated.
Dress as if you'll be sitting in 8°- 12° weather and you should be fine (layers). The concourse area is usually okay but the seating area is noticeably cooler at this time of year.

With 50k+ it'll probably feel warmer than the 2022 WSF.

Enjoy the game!

Thanks Junkie!  That's useful info I did not know, and wouldn't have guessed.  I was planning on leaving the coats at home.  Won't do that now!

We're in the Fairmont near Canada Place... is the Sky Train our best bet to get there?  It's too far for my littlest to walk straight to the stadium.

Expo line from Waterfront station to Stadium-China Town station. It'll drop you off across the street from Rogers Arena.

Miserable day in Vancouver today, pouring rain, 4C, wind.  Street party very subdued and ended early it seems.  Indoor stuff was probably rocking... but decided to swim outdoors in the dark instead.  That was a new experience!  All well and good until you get out!

So stoked for GC day.  It's been a long wait here in Vancouver!  Forum is mega quiet tonight.  Then again, I guess I'm 2 hours early here, and I'm always the last one on the forum every night.

If I don't get on here before the game, GO BLUE!  RECLAIM THE CUP!  GET REVENGE FOR '22!

And if they try to take our players out, remember that line from The Untouchables....

More like revenge for 90 years of misery vs Toronto teams in the Grey Cup. I believe the Bombers have NEVER beaten a Toronto team in the Grey Cup EVER, but I could be mistaken.

Their luck stops here!  I don't care who faces TOR the next 6 times, but I want them to lose every one starting today!  Payback's a .....
