Seattle had the best power back in the NFL too at the time. I believe there was enough time for two tries...One on the top nominations for the anti-Darwin awards of all time!! :D

I found the missing ref #22.  He was indeed the sideline "helper/comms" official for MOS.  Spotted him standing right next to him with a jacket on.

I guess he's been demoted or being retired.  Good.

I know Lawler and Holm and Kramdi arguably had their best games of the year, but I just wanna give some props to Gabe Wallace on the Oliviera TD.  I was sitting in the 6th row and he absolutely annihilated his guy and drove him straight back like 3 yards deep into the endzone, and Brady followed right behind him.  It's at 9:33 in this  video:

Also, I thought Tony Jones had a great game.  Not gonna lie, if Biggie calls it a career, I'd be OK going into camp rolling with Jones at MLB.

Sir Blue and Gold

Gabe Wallace is going to be pretty good. 17th overall pick and was rostered from week one on (barring injury).

You almost can't do better than that as a first year Canadian offensive lineman especially on a team like the Bombers who have solid starters across the board there.

Hard to judge a career on year one but the early returns and signals are very, very good.

yikes Wallace is huge.

at 1:47 Bombers have 7 O linemen.

seems like Brady , when carrying the ball gets hit, slows down, then just surges forward again knocking somebody down. great blocker on pass protection too.

thanks Victor

Exactly what our OL needed.

Wallace + Randolph look like good young pieces.
My wife is amazing!

Before I leave on my trip, I want to drop my brief analysis.  It took me until now to get both playoff games watched properly.

- SSK lost because they didn't do what "got them there".  They tried to be a deep pass team, which they are not.  All but 1 deep pass failed.

- Nick Taylor is the only guy that didn't bite on the fake punt.  No one listened to him.

- D schemes were wacky as all heck: players all over the place out of their natural spots trying to confuse Trevor.  There were times Kramdi was FS and BA was SAM!!  It was mental.  It'll need a full study later.  I'm not sure we've ever done this before under Younger.

- Bonds wasn't a free bingo spot.  He made a couple of big plays and almost had an INT, and forced a TOD stop with a great open-field tackle.

- Zach on mic saying to Biggie "as the future PA president" before V formation.  LOL.  I'd vote for him!  Could be a hint as to Biggie's prognosis...

Yeah that's the thing. Players are being rotated in and out of various spots on different schemes. Different players are rotated on and off the filed in different formations.

On TV it's nearly impossible to tell who is where or why. All you can tell is the result and the result on a play by play analysis were very good. Only a few Rider plays had better than average success.

Realistically we only gave up 16 points and 1 TD when it mattered. That will you most games if you aren't turning over the ball.

Some gooders in there. Enjoy!

Pic 71 - man, you can really see how huge Wallace is.  Brady looks like a little kid hiding behind his dad, and Brady isn't a little guy.

Coach LaPo breaks down the Bomber D-Fence, at times they had 9 DB's on the field.

I've never been on a sports team, those photos sure give an idea of what it's like...

they appreciate the fans I know, but the looks between guys...... I think mostly they do it for each other.

Sask got behind big early and the dink and dunk game went out the window. It's what I called prior to the game on how to shut their offence down as they don't have any deep pass receivers really and hard to do against the Bombers secondary anyway.

Arbuckle a bit of a wildcard. Argos have some deep threats as shown in East semi and final games. The thing is can Arbuckle get it out to them consistently? I think this is a game to mix in some blitzes more than they did against Sask. Also similarly, GET UP ON THEM EARLY...Make them play catch up. That almost always benefits the team that is ahead.
