The Bomber injury list looks like we have some choices to make on who plays and who doesn't...

JTFC, it's here guys.

I can't think of a scenario where this isn't close if both teams are playing to capability, and there's no reason to think they won't. And if that's the case, I think our overall talent, post season experience and raucous home crowd will have the boys in blue prevailing.

I think the biggest thing the Riders have at the moment is momentum, which can be everything in pro sports. Good on them for finishing the back third of their season and semifinal so strong. They will be coming in completely fired up. The only thing that scares me is that when we are off, we are really off. That's completely unacceptable in the playoffs of course and I'm glad we got that dud out of our system recently with the Toronto game. When Zach and Brady and the D are balling, we are the best team in the CFL. I want to see us hungry and aggressive. Foot to the throat.

Except for Schoen, we're basically near 100% on O (Emperor will do ok for Woli!).

I really think Buck et al are upping their prep and brain levels after the iffy WDF last year and the disappointing GC.  Zach let slip in a presser that the O was integrating wholly new and alien concepts for this game.  I think we finally get back to unexpected and creative wizardry to have & keep SSK reeling.

I really hope they go read my "we must be bold" thread from early 2024...  Be bold and we win.  Have belief we can destroy them doing what we want, don't let them dictate squat.

SSK are posers and got gifted a WSF win by a BC team in complete disarray on and off-field.  They have one game-plan: the McAdoo Ripoff dink & dunk.  If they step outside their comfort zone, Ford will eat them alive with INTs.

They are scared (and injured) enough to waste a DA on 2 IMP RBs.  One or both won't finish the game.  Their overall injury situation is as bad or worse than ours.

They may be up & coming, but they ain't there yet.  Send them back down to stew in the depths for another year to come try again.  I want to see another Mace post-game presser where he can't make eye contact with the camera...

Jaxon Ford and Trevor Reid have both been ruled OUT for the #Riders in the #CFL West Final.

Left tackle Trevor Reid (knee) has been ruled out for Saturday's West final. He has started every game for the #Riders at that position this year.

Trevon Tate expected to start at LT with Logan Ferland at RT.

DB Jaxon Ford (knee) also ruled out.

Even more curious is that the weekly practice report shows there was no practice on Thursday.  That probably means that practice string post had the walk through reversed from today?

This looks like Bridges, Woods and Cole are out. Alexander and Haba are back in. N. Taylor is in.  K. Wilson is a GTD so that means if he's in then that explains why Cole is not shown?

Taylor in for Bridges gives us some veteran experience and he can play multiple roles. At worst he's a rotation player than can aid our secondary.

Can't say I expected Cole to be bumped off the AR. Also the changes on the DL surprised me as well.
