I agree with your thoughts - the Western Final will be a close game no matter who shows up. I personally would like to see the Riders come to town as it more fun talking about a Rider vs. Bomber game that a Lions vs. Bomber Game. And I believe the Riders should be able to handle the Lions in the semi in Regina - but it will be close.

The wild card for the Riders could be dressing Armstead in addition to Oullette at RB for the playoffs, but that would have ratio implications elsewhere, so it may not happen. The Lions wildcard is having Rourke as the backup QB if things are not going well for Adams.

2. My take on many members of this forum spending more time commenting on How the Riders are a dirty team, which they are not. How they suck, Or how they have not sold out games, is a good sign, and to quote my teenage kids, the Riders are living in your head rent free.

Riders always seem to have one big douche every year...Duke Williams one year, forget the guy's name last year (a lineman who was suspended) and now Brown this year, it speaks very poorly of the integrity of the organization when they stoop to that low to employ such dirt bags. So, if Salyes is fined for two hits, can each hit carry the max half game cheque fine?  Or, once you make a fineable hit, the rest are free?

They didn't hesitate scooping up Armstead, who earned the reputation of being a douche bag in Ottawa in less than half a season. Apparently in the Victoria game he was running up and down the sidelines screaming and swearing at fans, he obviously has a few too many screws loose.

While I'd prefer the Riders I don't really care as long as we win the game. Beating the Riders in particular would be an added bonus.

riders would be a tougher test IMO but like you say a much sweeter victory.
