West Final...who do want the Bombers to face?

1. Bombers have not won the west division yet, please stop saying that. They are ranked first, by having the best record, and this allows them to host the West Final, to see who will become divisional champions and move on to the grey cup.

2. My take on many members of this forum spending more time commenting on How the Riders are a dirty team, which they are not. How they suck, Or how they have not sold out games, is a good sign, and to quote my teenage kids, the Riders are living in your head rent free.

3. Play off game attendance, be careful what you comment on about sellouts.

Blue bombers have hosted 4 playoff games in the last 10 years, all of which were at the new stadium

current capacity of the stadium is 32,343, original capacity was 33,422

Sat Nov 11th 2023 West Final vs BC- 32,343, sell out well done

Sun Nov 13th 2022 West Final vs BC - 30,319 - not a sell out

Sun Dec 5th 2021 West final vs Sask - 31,160 - not a sell out

Sun Nov 12, 2017 west semi-final vs EDm - 27,244 - not a sell out

In the same 10 years Sask has hosted 2 semi finals and one Finals, 1 sell out 2 not sell outs.

Keep riding that wave of having a winning team to cheer for, the bomber fans that I know on here and call friends deserve to have something good to cheer about.

The Riders aren't a dirty team ... they just keep getting suspended and fined for doing dirty stuff. We can rephrase it like that if it helps you. And if you want to preciously add up attendance figures did you see the crowd last week in Regina? The announced crowd was a more audacious lie than you'd get the Purdue Pharma PR department.

I have to laugh when you talk about riders living rent free in bomber heads, Have you read the rider forum, you'd be hard pressed to find a significant thread that doesn't have a bomber hate comment on it. Thank all rider fans including yourself for the entertainment!

( Nov 9th ) and post it. Not just before half time, or the start of the 3rd quarter before everyone gets back to there seats. The sellouts this season look pretty sold out to me. With the exception of the rum hut lurkers, the seats are pretty full.

But, we shouldn't boast to loudly, when the bombers were struggling a few years back, crowds were a little thinner in those days. Still pretty steady, but much thinner than these days.

Back to the topic, I picked BC, but I struggle with ... do I want the riders to lose at home, or have them lose here.

But in the over all scheme of things, I do not think it will matter much. This season has been different from the last few seasons. You could not say 100% going into any game who would win. I think that goes for the WF. The bombers are not that dominate team they were in 2021 and 2022. This will be anyone's game, no matter who gets the visitors change room.

I agree with your thoughts - the Western Final will be a close game no matter who shows up. I personally would like to see the Riders come to town as it more fun talking about a Rider vs. Bomber game that a Lions vs. Bomber Game. And I believe the Riders should be able to handle the Lions in the semi in Regina - but it will be close.

I think that's an outsiders view looking in to some degree. Ya, this year's team isn't as good as the one in 2019 or 2021 but In reality divisional playoff games and the Grey Cup are almost always competitive games. "It could go either way", can be said throughout the Bombers whole run for November games. And yes, this year it could also go either way.
