Rourke is still pouting as his NFL dream came crashing to earth. It seems so often many players returning from NFL flops don't return to form their first season back in the CFL. He might have to wait until next year to return to form.

BC looks off for many games now. Vernon Adams probably their best bet to take them somewhere this year, but with the kit and kaboodle sunk into Rourke that probably won't happen unless Rourke gets injured. Some owners and GM's never learn. You don't sign a guy to BIG money who has won nothing yet....see Toronto last year!

I don't really understand using Mackie as the SY QB.  You get a "free dress" of 3 whole QBs.  You can't scout or hire some ELC-ish SY QB?  You really need 2 clipboard QBs?

OTOH, a NAT FB is also kind of a "free dress".  But with a FB for SY the other team doesn't have to honor any pass.
