Winnipeg dealing with some injuries. Wilson, Ayers, and BA. Looking at the PR. We currently don't have any LBs on the PR. Will be interesting to see if KW19 is doing some running this week at practice. Lucky hasn't practiced in a few weeks and is starting to show it. Might be time to give him a rest and let his foot/ankle heal.

Couple of receivers getting close to 1000 yard seasons.

Getting harder and harder to get though any games without injuries. We went into the game with 4 starters already not practising and questionable. While they did play, now we have additional issues potentially.

As I mentioned prior to the game against the Ticats, it would have been a good idea to add another receiver for depth.

The way it turned out we had 2 receivers out and 3 defensive players also miss time.

It will another week of waiting to see who can play. It will be less of an issue if the Riders lose, then we can let some players heal up with 1st place locked up as a result.

If Pokey can reach 1,000 yds. it will greatly improve his chances of winning MOR, unless they choose a defensive standout, but I can't think of any qualifiers.

Chad Kelly has thrown 8 interceptions in 2024 - David Ungerer was the target on 5 of those. I hope he keeps targeting Ungerer.

The hit on our LBs is very concerning.  Next man up very thin, have to see if DBs could fill in or might need to sign someone?

I think we will feel the lose of BA also.  Vets settle the herd.

Not sure how severe the injuries were and whether they were just precaution. With a big lead we may have just chosen to sit them out.

If they are long term, then there might be an issue on who the next men up are going to be.

I noticed Kelly and Hallett were both in the game as the game progressed. We don't necessarily need to use a Canadian to replace Alexander if he's out.

Cole or Griffin can move to WIL if Ayers is out I suppose. If one of them becomes a starter we might add another DB to the AR. Bridges comes to mind to be the extra guy to use in the rotation or multiple DB formations.

Bombers were using so many players on defence it was hard to tell who was doing exactly what at times.

GO ELKS! Then they have lots of time to heal up all injured starters. Another regular season bye also coming up, so no lack of time off for the roster until the probable western final.

Cole is our Backup at WIL, so he will jump in as the starter if Ayers is injured. That leaves CAD47 as our backup WIL. Karamoko 6'2, 207 spends some time at practice at SAM. We also have Weitz 6' 200, who takes Reps at practice at WIL.

SSK@EDM spoiler warning

...

...

Well EDM did us no favors and we have to keep fighting hard like it's the status quo.  We need to lay the wood on TOR and secure that home WDF.  I don't want SSK getting any glimpse of any unnatural thoughts about winning the west.

TOR's a very hot/cold team, and very hard to figure out.  However, if we play our brand of ball over a full 60 mins we should come out on top due to the law of averages.  Probably the most important job this week will be Mike Miller's... get that thinking cap on and those guys prepared.

Griffin was also apparently out for some of the game, so who knows.  So many injuries with no hint of how serious they are.  My hunch is they are mostly nothingburgers, but I'll look for non-contacts and stuff on my upcoming rewatch.

Not too concerned with any of the injuries just yet tbh. Cole and Hallet probably slide in, Wheatfall gets a few more throws etc. Resting some nicked up guys might not be a bad thing.

Wheatfall was out too but he's another player I didn't see his injury. The catch is that we don't have 1st place locked up and we play before the Riders face the Lions. So we can't rest anyone that is healthy this week.

Neufeld, Wilson, Wheatfall, Alexander, Ayers and Griffin is a big list of TBD. Bombers went into the game with Adams, Demski, Haba and Whitehead not 100%.

Obviously most players are not 100% at this time of the season. Until we hear otherwise, chances are everyone can play.

I see the Als recently picked up Tre Thomas the very active WIL LB prospect that the Bombers cut in TC, here's hoping he doesn't have a long and productive career as a starter in Montreal.

Hoping someone doesn't succeed is a bad look imo
I want success for the entire league
