This Elks team is just too undisciplined and poorly coached. JJ has to be better than to waste his challenge flag on something that can't be challenged. They then follow that up with mass confusion and too many men on the field. Hard to win like that.

That was an ugly stretch for the Elks but they're still giving the Riders everything they can handle. Far from over.

You make a good point. Riders haven't been able to put away a team we easily defeated twice. With that FG all they need is a TD to potentially win this game IF their D can make a stop or better yet, create a turnover.

Well, they got the turnover on an INT but couldn't do anything with it and had to punt it back to Sask. Need to make a stop now.

Noticed that when we played them. Dude is a natural OL, lol; could easily step in if they lose too many OL. I've been watching him to see how effective he is. He can get good push but he sucks at speed and redirection. I bet he's good at washing off blocks though.

The Bombers still have four chances to clinch first place. A win against the Argos or a Rider loss to the Lions next week will do it for us. I like our chances either way.

I call that a catch. You can't see exactly where his hand is underneath it, so I don't see how they overturn the call on the field. It looked good enough to me and his hand stayed in the same place relative to the ball the whole time.

Maybe that little finger waggle he did was the deciding factor.

P.S. The officials said it wasn't a TD on the field, so there is no "review every scoring play" -- there was no score. The "potential scoring play" thing only applies in the last 3 mins. Refs screwed up again: SSK should have been forced to challenge.

Face it, the Elks are a gong show. Confusion is their middle name, too many men penalties indicate teams that are really in bad shape organization wise. They really need to get their crap together and Jackson isn't the one to lead them next season, he's clueless.

Bombers are at home next game to face the Argos and the game is meaningful for both clubs as there are playoff implications at stake. Our last loss came from the Argos in overtime at BMO field. Time for some payback.

BC has to go to Regina to play the Riders next week and the Riders hold a one point lead over the Lions so it's an important game for both clubs. A BC win would put BC into second place and hosting the WSF. A Rider win would lock up second place for the Riders and they'd host the WSF.

Lots at stake.

Right. Then the Elks got screwed on the Corey Mace challenge for PI where the Sask receivers ran what looked like a pick on the Elk defender. JJ had wasted his challenge flag earlier and it may have cost his team the game.
