Oh ya, before I forget:

I wonder who showed who what kind of team they are tonight, eh?

As long as Bo is still playing, he gets to have it thrown in his face.

The first half was a bit shaky, but the second half really showed off the completeness of this team.

Best part is they shut out the Tabbies in the second half and never looked back.

This organization, though. Elite from top to bottom.

TSN tried to hype this game as a battle of two hot teams with two veteran QBs duelling it out head-to-head. While it wasn't a perfect performance I believe you have to give the nod to Zach Collaros over BLM. They both made some plays and they both made some mistakes. Zach could have been picked twice that I recall but he made some very nice throws to Clercius and Lawler. BLM was picked and was unfortunate when his receiver dropped a sure TD pass.

Football is a team game and the better team won.

Agreed. Was silly for years already. Nothing even close to Deet the treat leaving in 1983 with parting words "What else is there to do in Winnipeg outside the zoo?!"....or very similar to that effect! :) Still loved his arm....bullet! :)

Looking at the Lucky DPI play again, I think it was an ok call.  The earliest contact is the HAM DB giving Lucky a push, then a pull, both of which change his speed/direction a little bit.  He's also impeding Lucky's right arm from coming around to make the catch (though not with his own arm/hands so this isn't terribly important).  The behind-the-post view shows this best.

The sideline cam is what makes it look like Lucky is doing stuff too.  That's where it appears Lucky's left arm is hugging him.  I don't think it's impeding the DB though.  (To be safe Lucky should have let go and put his arm out in low-catch position when the ball is arriving... though maybe he was worried about an INT.)

I'd say DPI is the right call, but they could have also let it slide.  If uncalled and challenged it most likely is upheld.  If challenged by HAM, it's likely upheld.  So hard to overturn DPI/OPI these days.

My gut says this should have been "mutual PI" and refs don't flag anything: this has been done before.  It's that initial push/pull that did the DB in.

The way Lucky played it was perfect. I knew it was going to draw a flag and I wasn't disappointed. Lucky has developed to a very smart receiver and we're "lucky" Lucky came along at just the right time. I don't think it's totally coincidence that our fortunes changed when we picked him up. I wasn't sure about the move when it happened but I am sure happy it did!

Ya, but I want to win legit and not via chintzy calls.  This call was weak, but I can see the rationale for it and am fine with it, because there was something there.  It's not nearly as chintzy as the garbage thrown at us vs SSK (1st game) and TOR.

We were up 2 scores and likely to score again regardless... I don't want other team fans to get an out saying we only won because of some cheesy EZ DPI.

In sum, I'm glad it wasn't bad OPI as some had said and it looked in that one angle.  There really was DPI going on.  But I still think refs need to hold their flags in those situations.

For that call to go against Lucky would have been bizarre. When I first saw it in real time I thought it was DPI for the reason you stated and obviously so did the official that threw the flag. As for other team's fans I really couldn't care less what they think. Just win baby!

I see that Rider fans have abandoned their team on TV as well as in the stands.
