Does anyone know why the CFL went away from broadcasting one game per day Friday, Saturday and Sunday and went to this 1 game on Friday and 3 on Saturday?? Is it to get away from the short weeks that left teams scrambling for preparation and put player safety at risk only having 5 days between games?? Even still, have a game on Friday, one on Saturday and 2 on Sunday if you want. Nobody can sit all day and watch 6-7 hours of marathon CFL football

Don't get used to too many Sunday games the rest of the season. Three letters are the reason: N-F-L
Money is no object...especially when you have none.

Only one game on Saturday I am very interested in watching. The other 2...Meh! ;) If the tube is on and I'm at home I will watch some of it, but got better things to do with my life in what is projected to be a great weekend ONCE AGAIN around Cowtown!! :)

Can always track the other games from the CFL website game tracker, internet radio or even Telus tv+ on my mobile phone if I have access to FREE WIFI. Bandwidth usage otherwise is too great on only the mobile plan if too much video feed on the mobile phone.

Also bud, the NFL regular season fully fires up on Sunday (one game tonight actually...Chiefs and Ravens) so that probably has part to do with moving all games to Friday and Saturday.

It was the summer schedule.
My wife is amazing!

Well I for one like the summer schedule. You can always find 2 hours to watch a game, and I found myself watching more non-Bomber games. Now, it'll be BB games and that's it, too much going on in a weekend to put aside 6 hours in one day to watch football. As for the NFL, couldn't give a rip about it, I'll watch it when the playoff race means something to the games and the playoffs. Watched maybe 10 minutes of the Chiefs-Ravens tonight, really don't care for the taylor swift watch that goes on, brutal.

You might not like the NFL but millions of others do.  Like it or not it's smarter to schedule the games around the NFL then to compete with them

Yes NFL rules the television broadcast world, their productions are big time  productions vs our cable access hoser presentations but I like our small time productions, feelings homey, authentic——Canadian!!

And, what a great game it was tonight. KC wins by a toe nail.

I don't care at all what happens in the NFL... but someone will!  PVRs mean not everyone knows the results yet!

I can!!  Well, all night usually...  And 3 games will be 9 hours if you PVR it all correctly.

But ya, spaced out a bit is usually better, even for me.  Otherwise even I'll get spaced out by around hour 8... especially after all the energy expended at a @PAS game!!

There is one great thing about this schedule: all rosters will be available for us fantasy players before any game begins!  So much nicer than guessing who will be starting or not on the later games.

I watch all the CFL games, but I hate triple headers.

Yeah, I love a good weekend double header, but three is too much.

That said, for this one weekend, it's about the fans in the stands, not the TV schedule. I assume most teams want to be on the saturday because fans travel for these games. Same reason we wanted the Banjo Bowl moved from being on Sunday.

One difference - I feel a lot less guilty about wearing my couch out when it's -20 outside.
