I agree completely. Even Frost looks better. Maybe BLM can catch on in the NFL.  ;)

Exactly. I don't know why he's on their roster

HAM was bad, but they got creamed early with turnovers.  And that after watching their guy get hauled away by an ambulance.

No resiliency.  No answer for a still very weak EDM team without their wunderkind.

The whole thing was cursed.  Kind of like the '94 San Marino F1 Grand Prix.

I really hope we get BLM, or Powell, next week.  I don't want to face a noob Frost.  Noob QBs in their first starts often wreak havoc because there is no film on them yet.

Quote from: TecnoGenius on August 18, 2024, 02:28:15 AMEDM getting this win is bad news for us.  Makes the @BC game kind of a must-win.

All our remaining games are pretty much "must wins". Losses at this point are going to have us dead and buried.

I really hope we have a good plan for Rourke.

We have to. Our margin of error is too small now. It's showtime!

Yes, those who Twatter and Feedbag, please keep the luddites among us (me!) informed as to their health status.  I really hope Haku ends up 100% healthy in short order rather than a lifelong injury case a la Hefny.

Yup.  When I was there for GC the fans I spoke to were so dejected that BLM was their #1 guy.  No one had any faith at all.  They tried to put a good face on, but you could tell they were depressed about the entire situation.

Yeah, it's got to suck. It wasn't that long ago we played them (twice) for the Grey Cup and they almost won the second one.

You mean the Aryton Senna one?....that was a horrible crash. Seen a few documentaries on that and on YouTube. He had no chance as a car malfunction at the most improper time. Much like Gilles Villeneuve from Canada in the 80's with Ferrari that got wiped out.

Yup... good memory!  What many don't remember is another driver died the previous day (practice or quali?), and Rubens had a huge airborne crash into the same wall that killed Senna.  2 deaths and a near-death in one weekend.  Cursed.

Rubens in an interview said he remembers nothing from the crash, except for the moment he went airborne, when he said "oops!".

I still have that race on VHS somewhere.  When Speed channel re-aired it in the early-00's.
