BC won't double-cover anyone until Zach shows he can reliably make them pay with the deep ball.  So this is as much a function of our OL and QB.

Saw him drop one right to him, nobody near him. Kind of disappeared after some big games.

Hollins has been useless the last few games, after a hot start to the season.  Just like E.Lewis in EDM.  Total disappointments from guys making top-5 $$$.  Fantasy players will know what I'm talking about...

Aug 14 MOS presser on bb.com: he's still got that sniffles that was clobbering him in the last game 1.5 weeks ago.  Weird.

Hladik is another player injured that the Lions hope can play. We'll have to see which of the DNP's start to participate in practice as the week progresses.

That said we're getting healthy and the Lions are starting to have injuries rack up.

Lot's of discussions since TC about short practice and lack of play in pre season. I expect that to be evident with Rourke on Sunday. A few practices after nearly 2 years off and will show the rust.

I predict he throws up 2 int's and Willie has 2 knockdowns.  Bonds and Holm get the pics.

Edmonton Elks — 81 man games lost (9.0 per game)
Saskatchewan Roughriders — 86 man games lost (9.6 per game)
Winnipeg Blue Bombers — 87 man games lost (9.7 per game)
Montreal Alouettes — 91 man games lost (10.1 per game)
Hamilton Tiger-Cats — 92 man games lost (10.2 per game)

I'm surprised that we're in the middle of the pack.

Sir Blue and Gold

I'm surprised you used four different font formats for that post.

OK, now do the same chart only counting starters/projected staters...  I bet it changes quite a bit.

Just play D like we played them last game....Shut out ball is rare but I know we have their no. and expect to limit them and play our game...Rourke or no Rourke...Lawler being back will give them all kinds of fits and I'm really liking our receiving corps and IF Zack can play like we know he can, we'll be in good shape

Agree, the way to beat BC is to keep Rourke off the field by chewing up the clock with our running game and getting into the end zone instead of kicking FGs. I believe our defense can hang with any other teams offense. That shutout was no fluke.
Go Bombers!

In the last game both the defence and offence played a big part in the victory.

Obviously holding a team to 4 1st downs is going to win the game.

Although the Bombers didn't score a lot, when the defence got the Lions off the field, our offence held onto the ball and had long time consuming marches. I'd like to see more TD's than FG's this week, but the previous formula works as well.

It doesn't measure how many we had playing at noticeably less than 100% at the same time we had injury replacements. I am sure we were the most beat up team in the league for first half. Stats are fine but as Yogi says "you can observe a lot just by watching".
