I would not doubt that 2024 has had the most games lost to 6 game IR since the 6 game IR started.  Probably in the 9 game IR era as well.

And we're not even halfway through the season.

Is it the new turf?  Is it too soft and hasn't "packed down" enough yet?  Do we need to get a steamroller out there for a couple hours?

We have 2 strength and conditioning coaches and 4 athletic therapists, and a world class facility for practice / workout and treatment.  How are we getting these injuries, and how are they not rehabbing faster?

Are we just suffering from the kharma of being a low injury team for so long, and now it hits?

Sheed in for Johnson seems a no brainer.  Sheed into Woli's spot, Lucky into Johnson's.

With the bye, there should be time to accomplish this, and the money with all our 6 game $SMS advantages.

according to Derek Taylor Haba is now on the 1 game after completing his 6 game.

Good news.  We need someone behind Garbutt.  Would be nice getting back to dressing 8 DL.  And getting a full Cheetah formation going

I'm still against it. I think there's a reason we couldn't find the dollars for him to stay and never committed financially to him. He's probably a short term upgrade over Johnson but it's incremental and probably doesn't result in additional wins. Why pay the SMS cost for that at 2 and 6?

I'd put Haba ahead of Garbutt.

Ya, that's what worries me too.

Everyone saw what Toronto did to our offense in last weeks game, blitz the middle and kill Collaros, I am hoping we have a FB in the scheme to help out with this or Collaros won't finish the game.

I think our secondary is capable of covering the Lions recievers, but with only 5 days rest, the second half of this game could be a long one for them.

I think that's a meaningless distinction. We need both playing probably the same amount of snaps.

Quote from: The Zipp on July 31, 2024, 02:49:03 PMOk Mr. Randolph - good luck, we believe in you!!

Lucky will be getting lots of time on the field, more than one injury to a receiver and I guess Augustine is next man up.

We've had 2 games showing Streveler is the next man up.
My wife is amazing!

Will be another very hot humid day tomorrow. I see BC going with 8 DL and 6 OL. Bombers 7 DL and 7 OL.

If all the injures were happening at home maybe, but there not.

We have been really lucky in terms of injuries for a really long time. Look how many teams have lost their starting QB in the last 5 years. Its just our time to get our share of the injuries.
