Most teams would pound the ball, take time off the clock and kick a field goal to make it a 2 score game. Nope,  not ottawa. Let's go for all or nothing, drop 2 passes and turn the ball back to Edmonton! Only to watch Edmonton go 2 and out from their 9. So frustrating to watch this garbage

I think that Rhymes "drop" was a catch and a fumble and recovery.  Should have been OTT ball.  Oh well, don't waste your challenge early on weak sauce.

The reason is Rhymes' feet never left the ground, he was actually dragging them diving.  If feet don't leave the ground, the "survive contact with the ground" rule does not come into play.  And in any event, he did survive and then flipped it out himself.

Well, the computer PVR cut over to our game... so I can't see the end of the EDM game until I get in front of a "real" TV.  It's looking good for OTT, since they're in the lead and EDM can't do anything at all, but really anyone could win it.  If MBT puts something together maybe they pull it out.

Watch, EDM will lose by a missed Bede convert with 0:00 on the clock!

You don't win many football games scoring a measly 14 points. Their offense stinks, it's always stunk and the guy calling the plays gets promoted to ahead coach. What a crazy world we live in !!

They were a reasonable and exciting offense when Ford was QB last season. And the fans certainly liked him. I am convinced American coaches just do not think Canadian QB's are good enough.

That was a terrible exhibition of football, I thought Brown would figure it out eventually and put some plays together, but he never did.  RB's won by default because Edm. was worse.

Well, that was foreboding for our game!  We couldn't even manage anywhere close to 14!

And ya, the problem in EDM, at least in-season, wasn't Jones.  They aren't going to get better.  They need a rebuild year next year.  Pretty sure Jarius/Geroy are not the long term answer, but we'll see.
