how does the command center decide when to overrule with no challenge? And why don't they when its an obvious bad call such as PI

That's a very good question. I'd like to know the answer too. The officiating in this game is night-and-day compared to what we witnessed yesterday.

To me, command centre should be able to over rule on any major foul and PI. These are big yardage penalties and you want to get it right vs let the bad call/non call go.

your right PI is often a huge penalty, i dont think they should automatically review every call, buts when the call is an obvious error or when the ball is not catchable it should be

I thought it was a spear for sure. The Qb is in the motion of throwing and you come in and drill him with your helmet, that's a spear everyday, except today in Calgary
