All the kicker has to do is kick the ball in bounds and it's a real long field for Ottawa to go and maybe 2 plays to do it in. If jones takes no action, then he's sending the message, is ok to find ways to lose here. If he doesn't can the kicker, you're right, he ll be canned.

Yup. Then go for 2 and the win (that would toss up on right or wrong) but shouldn't have left any time...and don't kick out of bounds.

And Bede has one of the strongest legs in the league. He might have been able to kick it into the endzone.

Both teams have a lot of good players and some future stars, always good to keep track of the ones with expiring contracts after their seasons end early. Poor Jones he's going to suffer a heart attack on live TV!

You believe what you want, but kramdi knocking brown out of the game was the turning point in that game. He had 480 yds passing in this game tonight, have we even came close to that?? He almost broke 500 yds, I don't think we ve cracked 350

How many yards did he have when he got knocked out?

Just because a player plays well in a game doesn't translate into playing well in every game. Dru was having a tough night against us - doesnt mean he is trash.

You called it....and they did. Brown through an incredible last play strike to get them in range for a walk off FG.....aided by Wards out of bounds KO with only seconds remaining in regulation! You have to wonder what it will take for the Elks to break the curse of beating themselves game after game.

He's always double covered. He's 3X their next best receiver, so they focus on him. Even in that explosion catch he made he was double covered. You have to be in the mood for big risk to throw into obvious double coverage.

Tell you what I'd do, I'd look into the bank accounts of Bede, and his wife, and everyone in his family. It wasn't just the KO...

Bede missed the chip shot 31Y FG earlier when EDM had a chance to tie. Then he magically botches a KO.

Bede is a seasoned vet, been in the league a long time. Maybe he can miss a 31Y, maybe. But then to also screw up a KO in insane fashion at a critical point he was probably told to put straight down main street because there wasn't enough time for OTT to do anything? Ya, I'm looking for incoming payoffs.

Just like H<20-more-letters> got canned shortly after missing 5 @IGF to lose us a game, so should Bede.

Right after the TD I was screaming they should go for 2, not just because they could get the outright win, but because I knew Bede was going to screw it up somehow. It took 1 more play than I anticipated. Trash ending.
