Couple of bad Int's
Defense struggled most of the game.
Took too long to get our run game going.
That challenge call on the Demski catch.

Ugly

Those many multiple Stamps' completions over the centre.

Defense falling asleep just before the half.

The Bad:

As others have mentioned, Bighill, Alexander and Wilson are all not playing very well. That said we aren't getting enough push from our DL. Every QB has had too long to throw and find open receivers.

The Good:

Ford made some terrific plays but a missed tackle on the 1st drive was a 53 yard catch/YAC. He was about 1' away from knocking down that TD pass. He did get the int I predicted.

Bonds gets better every game. DId get beat a couple of times. What can you expect when Maier had enough time to write a novel before throwing.

O. Wilson. Well that explains why they kept him around. I thought he only had about 30 yards total in the other 5 games!!

The gutsy call by O'Shea's to go for 2—playing to win! I can just imagine the howling if we d have missed it!! Still ballsy call

The Bad
Our aging veterans on defense and getting slower every game!! Young guns making plays, old high priced vets aren't

The stinking heat and humidity these guys had to play in !

Our guys were slipping a lot on the turf.  Like a lot.  And in ways that cost us.  CGY's were not.  What they heck is going on with our footwear?  CGY knows what footwear to bring better than we know our own field?  New turf causing issues?  Humidity?  I never want to see that again.

Sticky/Pokey Wilson, pretty impressive anytime a WR gets a 200 yard game
Brady O got 100+ on only 15 carries, he made the most of them.  2 games in a row now, lets keep this up
Going for 2 and Winning the tiebreaker vs CGY

Bad:
Sloppy tackling, settling for FGs instead of TDs far too often
TSN messing up the scoreboard & down/yard most of the game

Ugly:
Wilson saying  they are not allowed to keep game balls.  Really?  He had a heck of a game, give him the ball!

Ford looks really good. speedy, smart, good tackling.

speaking of past their prime players, I thought  Cam Judge looks like he is past his.  and Did not notice Awe much either.

 will say that Jake Maier is really up and down but he pulled himself together last night, and played very well.


also think Zach is a bit too hard on himself. 

it will ne interesting to read the stats for Bombers D.

ugly..... Bombers twenty yards rushing first half. Alexander..not sure he is top rank anymore. Dickensen waving his arms around, sour faced look we know so well.

Bombers beat a good team. so lots of reason for optimism.

Adding to the good
Very exciting entertaining game, go from groaning over a missed tackles, or explosion play against us,to cheering the next moment for a great wilson catch, ford/nichols interception, Cadwallader block etc. We get a 10 point lead, all the momentum and then give it away on the next 2 possessions. Followed by a return to our offence of a balanced running and passing game.
Actually thought Kyrie Wilson had a strong game
Great to see Zacs second half.
Adding to the bad
Dline - the lack of pressure and adequate rotational players led to them being gassed by 4th.
OShea not challenging pi in the endzone
The issue with the bad was there was so little resistance by the d in the 4th. Specially across the middle (big reason for the negativity on the game posts)
The ugly
Osheas challenge on Demski catch, also why didnt the officials talk to him,as Ive seen numerous times in other games

Our best game by far. I'm happy to be wrong in the pick-ums. 

Collaros showed flashes of his former glory and flashes of this year. 

Ontaria was in beast mode. Made some incredible catches to make Collaros look good & the Stamps look bad. 


Brady O falling on Demski's fumble kept us in the game.

Ford showed good and bad. Made some big plays and some big mistakes.

The D had a good 3rd quarter but allowed 458 yards & 37 points against. 

The blocked punt is what finally won it for us. 

Going for 2 instead of 1 was huuuge! Gave us the season series as well as the game. 

MOS challenges a 2 yard loss catch, then the accidental PI that kept our last drive alive.

I think our secondary got exploited because our D-line didn't get enough pressure. I know this is because of injuries. The off-season might be a good time to throw Shoen's or Lawler's money at the best DE in the league.

Besides the one interception (thrown to Demiski, I don't blame Collaros for the first) and a couple of bad incompletes, Collaros looked good. He had some incredible throws.

Last I heard about Lawler is he doesn't have his cast on now, but won't be playing this month. So, I'm expecting an August return.

I'm expecting him back on July 27th against the Argos. After that they play the Lions Aug 1 on a short week so that might be when he returns with fresh legs.

Bombers go on a bye until Aug 18th when they play the Lions again in Vancouver.

I don't know whether Lawler will start getting practice reps this week. If he doesn't that would suggest not returning on the short week against the Lions.

Realistically we need to win both games against the Lions to move up the standings.
