Fine and Pipkin are one trick ponies and/or washed out at this point. No loss for the CRyders and nobody picks them up until injuries occur I would venture to guess. Fine MAYBE has some long term potential, but have never seen it in any game he has played for Regina.

DB Sayles isn't anywhere near to the end of his career.  He was showing no signs of turning into Chris Randle (and no slight to Randle: he was amazing until he hit that wall).

BinBC is right: must have been $$.  Which means he might be worth a look if he can't find work elsewhere, because he might have to accept much less $$ to re-establish himself.  Has he always been HB, never CB?  Digging deep in the brain to try to remember, I think you're right, as I can vividly remember his IC woes and the oven-mitts solution!!

(Makes me wonder whatever happened to DB Jones#16, who just kind of disappeared.)

Solid SY.  Remember that game-losing 3-try stop vs SSK @Commonwealth in 2023?

MBT won't be doing SY.  Ford is a tiny wimp @SY.  Doege is much the same.  They literally have no SY grinder, unless Corny is still around.  Their last SY specialist was Loxley (sp?) and he was also a tiny useless guy @SY.

They are taking a page from our book: get a solid 95%+ SY QB and you will win more games because all you ever need is 8.5Y, not 10.

I think it's a great move.  But it might mark a forthcoming cut to one of the existing guys... unless EDM wants to collect QBs like TOR did in 2019.  Plus, it keeps Prukop away from us if we decide Strevie isn't going to do SY.
