CFL, BC Lions, City of Victoria announce Touchdown Pacific in 2024

The first Touchdown Pacific game will see the BC Lions host the Ottawa RedBlacks on Aug. 31, 2024 at Royal Athletic Park in Victoria, BC.

No indication of the opponents, it'll be a Lions home game, best opponent choice would probably be the Argos.

Ahh, I didn't realize the game was scheduled for LD weekend.

Not a bad idea to grow the league in underserved markets. How does this work for BC STHs? They get a free seat in Victoria? What if they don't want to make the trek?

But I'm sure glad our team will almost certainly never be chosen to "lose" a home game to this type of thing.

According to a buddy of mine, TD Pacific is included in the 2024 season seat package. If he wants to opt out ( he doesn't) he would be given a credit which could be applied against 2024 Grey Cup tickets or season seats for next season (2025).

To answer the next question, no I do not know what happens if there are not enough tickets for TD Pacific to accommodate all season seat holders or how they will be allocated.

Not a bad problem to have, all they need to say is "tickets are limited, first come, first served".
