Then I'm older than you!  I couldn't name a Green Day song if my life depended on it.

While I may not like it, I must admit it's not the worst pick, as it'll have the 90's kids demo excited.  And it is a bigger "name" than last year.

I wonder, though, if it's a good match for the HAM demo?  Although I guess the crowd will be more TOR people than HAM people.  It'll be a harder game for WPG people to make.  Maybe TOR people are more into this style of music.

If it was just HAM fans, I'd think some heavy metal band would be more appreciated.

I am 65 and I don't mind this choice at all. Its a big upgrade over some previous halftime shows. I would way rather hear Green Day as opposed to the no talent Black Eyed Peas.

I love it also. They sold a lot of records and just released the 4cd Dookie Anniversary set. Should be lively and probably I will know every song. Their last concert had a pretty well known set list starting with American Idiot and ending with Good Riddance (Time of your life).

The league is more concerned about attracting a target demographic to watch the game on TV, not catering to those that might be there in person.
