Ford has made a big difference to Edmonton's team, I think Jackson as OC has as well. Rider forum talking about Dolengala as a future all-star... some of their posters are a bit delusional. He's ok on the short out patterns, but the long ball and even the intermediate stuff are not that accurate. Riders are worse than their record IMO (yes, I know we lost to them...we are inconsistent). They have the worst points for and against differential of -114. Ottawa, who everyone paints as a terrible team has a differential of -35. Riders may actually be the worst team in the league right now despite their record and the probability that they'll make the playoffs.

Question:

Does Ford get a NFL look like Rourke?  He's been every bit as impressive in a much smaller sample size, and has a skill set that would be attractive to NFL teams... his escapability is pretty amazing. 

Would be kinda fitting if he fled from Jones.

Safety to me.

I think it's right at the margin.  You don't have to look where the ball ends up.  You need to look at maximum forward progression of the ball before he is completely down.  He has the ball well in front of his body before that and then falls forward.  Based on where the ball ended up, I do believe the max forward progression of the ball was a few inches in advance of the goal line.

However, the cam angles provided don't prove that.  Why is there no goal line cam angle??  But the ruling on the field was it was out of the EZ.  So with no evidence proving that forward progression didn't make it out, I would have gone with "ruling stands".  The evidence has to be clear to overturn.

Again, where the ball ends up on the turf is irrelevant.

The Cobb rail catch/nocatch question: definitely not a catch, ball trapped on hitting ground, moved significantly in hands when hit ground.  Because he was falling, the only question is: is that ball moving in his hands on the turf.  Toes don't matter.  Bobbles don't matter.
