I pretty much agree with you - our cover team is going to get us burned one of these days unless they pick up their socks. Can  not start the opposition mid field or near mid field and not get burned one of these days. I don't see Zack doing the 2 pick 6's again this year so not worried there.

Good

Bad

Good
Pass rush
Punting
Run D
Run game
Hall's schemes and his merry men #d++
Bad
Ints
Ugly
Montreal O and D

Lincoln Locomotive

The Good:

-Brady O is a stud
- McCrae had a good game running, receiving and returning
- JJ was a beast along with our entire D allowing only 3 points!
- Punting was good
- Zach being unfazed by his horrifically bad start and throwing for 4 TDs
- Nic Demski on that 40 yard explosion play and his running
- Buck Pierce play calling
- MOS winning all his challenges
- Jackson playing DE, STa and catching a pass (talk about versatile)
- 47 points scored....
- Thursday night sellout making back to back sellouts with the Banjo Bowl
- Bomber O-Line allowing 1 sack and a formidable running game
- Cody Fjardo is 0-8 against the Bombers
- Bomber resilience and never panicking
- only 45 yards in penalties

The Bad:

- horrific pick six to start the game followed by 2 more picks
- The Als lack of discipline with 145 yards in penalties
- Cody Fjardo was brutal
- Als run D
- Austin Mack injury....he's by far their best offensive player
- our STs coverage on KOs and punts is among the leagues worst
- Sergio missing a PAT which would give us a 3 point lead instead of 4
-
The Ugly:

- Mack's injury could be a concussion....not good

agree all, but would add Baileys terrific catch off a deflection. When you have Lawler, Demski,Schoen and then he makes a catch like that...its just not fair

Yes....Agreed.   I was trying to think what else could I add and had mentioned on another thread that he makes one or two amazing catches per game lately....thanks!

Amazing catch by Bailey!!! and it made Maas challenge the catch and lose his challenges for the remainder of the game. Maas needed that challenge on the DPI call on the Lawler no catch out of bounds.

Yes indeed....Maas almost lost it when his challenge was overturned....losing a timeout and a challenge albeit I don't think it really mattered in the scheme of things.

I would like to add that we did see great games from everyone, but it's especially great to see that the guys with the biggest question marks on defence played great!

Winston Rose stepped up and looked like he was back to his old self before he left for the NFL. Registered 4 tackles, on INT and also broke up at least one more pass.
Interior DL played great! Thomas and Lawson both got a sack and held the Montreal rush to under 50 yards.
Bennett didn't register on the stat sheet but was creating great pressure on passing downs, plus helped plug up the run nicely.
Kramdi layed a really hard hit over the middle and I thought I remembered him breaking up a pass as well.

This game made me feel really good about our defence. Montreal's defence scored 14 and their offence scored 3 points.

You know the defence is playing great when the limit the opponent to 1 1st down in the 2nd half and IIRC only 9 in total. DL pressure helps the secondary and vice versus but all units played very well.

Yes, Kramdi did separate a receiver from a completed pass at least once. I haven't re-watched the game yet but don't think it was even his primary cover. He was an " assist" and made a good play.

While he's not really noticeable he has made at least one very good play in the games he's played recently.

Can anybody find the TOP for the Bombers?

Good-Montreal one first down in the second half
       -severe thunderstorm missing the stadium
-Olivera again favorite to win CFL National of the year maybe even MOP
-Olivera getting 1000 yards from scrimmage
       -Olivera two TD's
       Is there a pattern here?
Bad-3 turnovers
      -no fly by
-Fajardo stinks again against the Bombers
      -Castillo missing two kicks
Ugly-Walker's penalty taking away a turnover
      -2 pick sixes
