he?s a fine short yardage QB. Putting him on any time outside of 2nd and 1-2 or 3rd and 1 has proven to be a waste. Specialists can be specialists but they deserve criticism when they don?t perform well. The whole ?this player would tear your head off if you criticized him? is a weak cop-out.

Yes, Prukop is a great SY guy.  Since that botched pass in the GC I think it's clear we have to be careful using him in Strevie-mode.  And the hand offs need some serious work or Prukop needs to keep it every time like he did every game except tonight.

Ugly game but we beat Calgary in Calgary with our backup QB. Not easy.

Tell Biggie that when you PI someone, you don't put your arms up in the universal sign for "I just committed PI".  Just play it cool like a normal play.

Without the pick six we lose this game easily.

If CGY receivers and DBs had hands we lose this game easily.

Whew. Horrible performance overall by offence and not so special teams.  ST's nearly cost us the game. Bighill taking a PI when it wasn't going to be a completed pass.

Kudos to defence and Houston in particular.

Not a well called game by Pierce and even worse execution. Poor blocking by OL a lot of the night.

Regardless, it was a win and that was critical.

Terrible game calling on O.  Nothing like last week's swashbuckler style game.  

Gotta improve the special teams.  Been the best in the league for several seasons and this year it is poor.  McRae is NOT a returner.

One thing for sure, if we had Legghio as our kicker, we lose that ball game.

Overly critical, too early to know.  Classic pile on a guy when down.  Bad year for him.  He still could figure it out.  Not a great chance but he might slowly develop.  Deep balls were nice.  Overall not a good showing.  Int was bad.

The poster suggested he was the most useless player or something like that.  Talking about a bad performance yes, trashing a part of our team, never.  Try calling a pro player the most useless player.  Let me know how they take it.  You are just looking to one up me.  Seen this movie, got the t-shirt.  Next.  Best to respect all players, regardless of their performance or club they play for.

Bombers need to seriously try to get Parker back on the roster to return kicks. McCrae was costing us field position every kick including that last missed FG. We did manage to run out the clock but catching the miss on the run gets a few more yards if we failed getting a 1st down.

I haven't checked the stats yet. We seemed to abandon the run more in the 2nd half especially going into the wind. The run plays we ran were very predictable. With little success passing that made taking Oliveria out as a threat easier.

Defence didn't get enough pressure on Maier for most of the game. However the stopped the run and didn't give up a TD. At least 6 points given up were due to ST's. Blocked punt and return yardage.

I thought we'd have much more success on offence and a little less success on defence.

IMO field position created some problems for us tonight.

Luck was on our side.

Double down on twisting what I said.  Not a big talker stating the facts.  You have a long history at chiming in when I call someone out or when you want to nick pick a random fight.  The poster didn't make any sense and you are defending it by now calling Prukop useless.  The lesson of the day is don't trash a player behind the keyboard and think its fine.  The threshold for me is, who you say that you there face?

You and the other posters I believe are understating the value Prukop provides.  Stability, insurance and an occasional package on O.  Great on short yardage.  Bad game for him, decent depth player.

I don't believe anyone should call any player useless on here.

Our passing game took a hit tonight. No 1 handed Lawler TD catches tonight. Brady had a beast of a game though, his open field running is all him on heart and desire. So inspirational to see him give his all when we needed it

Fans are revved up and often overstate things in 5e heat of the moment. Let it go. Quit playing mother Theresa holier than thou with them . Just let it go. We have moderators on here, we don?t need you breaking off all the time and antogonizing the situation. If someone?s over the line, they ll be desceretly contacted by the mods, no need for your antics

Very much agree. McCrae is not a returner not sure why O'Shea is not seeing that. Also need to one of Fox, Haba or Garbutt need to be in the lineup to keep the DL fresh.

Something has to change on our kick cover teams. That was even worse than our returns. Give credit to Stamp returner but still we didn't cover well. What key ingredient are we missing?
