Clark Barnes has a sizeable brace on his leg at Stamps practice today. Tough news for the rookie Canadian receiver.

MOS won't reveal his hand until game time.....he also knows this is the CFL and isn't going to underestimate any team no matter where they are in the standings or who they have at starting QB.    We get pretty cocky on here and I'd rather not go that route personally.....when we have our 3rd Cup in four years back in the Peg....THEN I might get a little cocky....but only a little.

apart from the ZC conversation...what are we doing to improve our kick and punt coverage?  It seems the other team is starting in better field position than we are...when we play a team like TO who has a Big Boris Bede who can boom the kickoffs we will be a distinct disadvantage (especially if Grant isn't back).

Has Exume made an impact?  Gauthier is back practicing...where is Mike Miller in his recovery?

I don't have stats to back this up but are we in the bottom third of return yardage against us?  What is our avearge starting yard line vs other teams?

Miller and Gauthier are both getting close to returning which should help our special teams immensely.

Bombers are missing Janarion Grant and Mike Miller - arguably the two biggest losses to injury so far this season. Hope both are back soon!

Exume has 7 st tackles and 7 tackles in 5 games with us.

OK, if Zach isn?t even in sweats and taking scout team reps that to me equates to not playing. This weekend.

What he was doing was mirroring the QB with the ball, not sure what they call that. Mental reps? How it looks is he is standing behind the QB with the ball and then lightly making the throwing motion with no ball, that way all the QB's get some value from the rep. Foot work and read at least. Not the same as throwing of course so it has me wondering if he has some pain from throwing? Or perhaps just being cautious. Couldn't tell. It certainly does not appear to be a disaster.

IMO Collaros could play but the team may choose to sit him ( # 3 QB ). Lots of factors in the final decision. No need to play him if he's not 100% or there exists an issue of potentially exacerbating the current injury. The other issue is that we aren't playing a powerhouse teams and Brown showed well last week.

I won't be surprised whichever way this goes.

It could. He could also miss the whole season or he could start on Friday.

Yes, I agree, it seems like the 40 to 45 yard line is pretty common for opposing teams when we kick off.

Coach O'Shea following Wednesday's closed practice: QB Zach Collaros did not practice today. No update on his status for Friday in Calgary.
