Even after re-watching the game I can't tell how well he played. On TV he didn't seem to be getting beaten or targeted but he wasn't involved in many tackles either. Was that a good sign or a bad sign? Did we adjust our coverage in the defence to compensate?

Those that were in stadium might have a better analysis.

Do we expect he will remain at our SAM next week?

Obviously everyone played pretty well. Not going to find bad tape on someone from this week.

I doubt we make any non-injury changes after a game like that.

That doesn't really answer the question or actually mean everybody  played well.

Need a deep dive to know but gut tells me he played decent  but we seen lots of rotation, especially late.

Also interested in a deep analysis but there were certainly few plays or players to worry about in general.

I saw him around the ball a lot.  Runs and passes.  He wasn't torched on any pass his way.  I watched for his number, a bit of an odd one at #17.  He seemed to fit in well with his team mates.  Biggie was comm'ing with Wilson all night, he definitely wasn't having to babysit Kramdi.  On the other hand, BC didn't get a lot of pass attempts, eh?

There may be more to our Kramdi/Darby situation, and the ST gaffe by Darby isn't going to help his cause in MOS' eyes.  I'm still a bit in shock, but Kramdi might be our guy.  Certainly helps with ratio issues.  It'll be interesting to see how this develops going into the post-season.  If it stays this way, Darby will be cut for FA.

Lions attempted nearly 40 passes but only completed about half. Lots of short pass attempts and not much yardage accumulated. We seemed to get more pressure than I imagined which helped the secondary etc etc. Some of that had to be because of Wilson and Rose as well.

Overall, nothing to complain about on a solid defensive night.

Will continue to watch how Kramdi fits in as a starter. It improves our ratio and options. Now if we can take advantage of the ratio aspect things will be good.

The game against the Elks might give us an opportunity to give Garbutt or Fox a game on the AR.

Some reports are that McCrae was nicked so we might see Parker back doing returns if he's healthy. That gives us a different option to back up at SAM. If that's true we might see Darby moved off the AR for another DL?

Kramdi was all over the field. A very fast and physical addition to our secondary, both he and Holm are good additions to our secondary both bringing speed and a physical presence to it.love both of them

Kramdi was all over the field.  Just because he doesn't show up.onthe statsheet, doesn't mean he isn't playing well.

You have a better chance to see that at the field then on the TV. That was why I asked that question.

It's easy to judge a performance of DL or DB's by saying "not enough pressure on the QB" or "his matchup caught a lot of passes".
For Kramdi's position, it's hard to quantify what a good game would look like. He doesn't have a direct matchup with a WR, he isn't one of the first guys to stop the run, and he isn't blitzing often. We use him more as a saftey protecting the middle.

Great insight everyone

He isn't playing in the secondary, he's playing in the linebacking corps.  Just because the SAM linebacker has gotten lighter, doesn't change the fact, he is still a linebacker.

I mostly consider it part of the secondary. When we ttalk about replacements or options at the position, we?re not bringing up guys like  Bighill, we?re talking about Parker or Holm.

I would like to see the guy continue an upward trajectory from last game. He did his job last week but glimmers of absolute promise. Coach likes him better that Darby as do I.
