I'm up to halftime: Kenny is really toughing it out.  Didn't notice any of this at IGF, but he must have some painful injury from when he stepped out for a bit.  After every tackle you can see the pain in his eyes, but he doesn't show a single thing outwardly that he can help.  Wow.  200 yards night.  I hope it's just a minor heals-in-a-week thing and not a rib or an organ.

2Q1:40 Rose lets Lucky get up after a quick wide out, before tackling him and getting him DBC.  That is something you don't see often, outside of final 60s time-killers.  So what is Rose doing here?

1. Killing clock anyhow with 1:40 left, even though we might get the ball back (we did)?
or
2. Going for the strip/fumble (he seems to be trying a bit, but had no help coming)?
or
3. Both

More importantly, is MOS going to love or hate this play?  You have to be confident to do this, as if the R squirts out away from you and there's no help you'll look pretty stupid!

Munching on some crow this morning.... I truly didn't think we would

a; keep BC's pass rush in check as well as we did
b; have enough of a d-line rotation too not have our guys to gassed by the 4th

I was wrong...and I flipping love being wrong some times!

Sir Blue and Gold

...I guess dressing an extra full back and some linebackers ended up being okay.

Well my thoughts about BC dressing 9 guys for the D-Line and wearing down the Bomber O-Line by rotating their guys often didn't play, and I certainly didn't expect to see the Bombers go to the deep ball early and often.

The O-line was given a game plan designed to help them keep Zac clean and to a man they stepped up and delivered. They game planned to exploit BC's tendency to use pressure and play man coverage, they got what the expected early and used it against them to jump out to a fast start, it put BC on their heels for the remainder of the game.

OL, Wilson and Rose and DS83 all served up a good plate of bird tonight for the doubters.  I'll eat a little crow to the fact that I didn't see a blow out coming nor did I think the OL would be this great.  Crow tastes good when you put up 50!  What a game.  We are BACK!

This roster is incredible

People claiming we are too old.  Well seasoned I say.

Can't touch us when we play like this.

Last statement says it all, question is will they be able to retain that level of intensity through to the end of the season, or turn it on and off as needed?

That throw by Zach rolling right and hitting Demski over the shoulder in the end zone, was absolute perfection!

I didn't see most of that coming. I'll re-watch the game later this morning. Total dominance on both sides of the ball.

Getting Rose and Wilson back was great to see. Both seemed somewhat invisible and I say that in a good way. They certainly were not being targeted by the Lions and that's usually the best thing you can say about a defensive player.

I saw Jackson on the field a few times, including on defence late in the game. I think he may have actually forced a turnover on a 3rd down with pressure / hit on the QB?

Essentially he was on offence, ST's and defence a few times. If the Bombers can develop him for an increasing role, then maybe this is a good thing.

Take no prisoners

If you/someone re-watches the game perhaps you/they can confirm something for me if someone doesn't mind doing the work....

I was really concerned with Bennet as the only rotation at end and the Jeffs getting "gassed" but it seemed like we had Mauro, Biggie, Briggs, Walker, Bennet, possibly even Jackson all seemingly rotating at the edge, or in some version of an edge. Maybe it was the post game tequila clouding my memory but somehow it seemed we had a rotation by committee more so though I have noticed in the past?

Previously I had expressed my concerns over game day roster, especially the lack of down linemen, but I have to give props to Hall for his creative use of lbs to rotate in. I also saw  Cole play a bigger and better role. I still maintain we need another quality DE in but well played

TBURGESS

WE'RE BAAAAACK!

Best game we've played all year by a large margin.

We showed other teams how to beat BC. Bring in an extra O lineman and go deep against their DB's who love to play man.

We owned them last night. They owned us the first game. I can hardly wait for the 3rd game.

The DS83 TD pass was also a thing of beauty! He doesn't break stride at all and the ball lands perfectly in his hands
