Is Rod Smith blind or just to old and out of touch to call a football game properly?

I've noticed his brain has little lapses here and there over the last few weeks. But generally he's ok, and I like him better than Suits; he's far more affable.  He and Forde make a good team.

I think they replaced him on the panel a few years back because his face was starting to get more suited for radio than hosting CFL
