These announcers aren't even watching the game.

Suitor has been bad for ages now. Really offers nothing.

Dustin is just Dustin.

I guess we want the Riders to win right? Standings wise.
I LOSHT MY MEMBER IN AN UNFORTUNATE SHMELTING ACCSHIDENT!

Tough spot either way.  Need the analytics to determine the best approach there imo.

Betts with 10 sacks on the season closes the game out with another sack while being double teamed.   Hope our O-Line was watching the Lions D.   They limited the Riders to 16 yards rushing and Alford never got untracked.   The thing with BC is they also have the best two QB tandem and there's not a significant fall off when either goes  down.    Most teams are one starting QB injury from being gutted.....let's hope Zach can stay upright against the Lions in two weeks.    They will be gunning for him and he will need to play his absolute best to beat the Lions.

Riders are clearly a step below the top 3 teams in the league. Evans if in long term the Lions might have problems.

I don't care if Jesus says it wasn't RTP, it was.  The rule states you can't impact the head which he did.  Again 2 points simply not worth it, especially early in the game.

What do you want defensive players to do?

1. Follow the rules
2. Adjust to the rules
3.  Don't impact the QBs helmet

The rule is that there can't be a blow to the head. It was not. Later in the game Fine was tackled with a hand to the top of the helmet which initially appeared  and was called a face mask. It was over ruled and was NOT a RTP either.

Not only that Evans dropped his head and into the tackle in the end zone.

Sir Blue and Gold

I thought the wording was "forceable blow to the head". If so, I don't think it was that.

?I thought I was going to win that,? Dickenson told Regina reporters after the game. ?The standard for roughing-the-passer is you cannot hit him in the head or neck area with force. The word they use is ?unnecessary force? and that was just a tackle. I?ve got to disagree with the command centre on that.?

?The standard is unnecessary force. There?s this idea that you can?t hit him in the head and neck (area) and that?s wrong. You can hit him in the head and neck area but not with unnecessarily rough force and I felt like Demarcus got (Dane Evans) over the chest. His arm went over the shoulder and I felt like it was a clean sack. I felt like it was worth challenging because it was points and they?re kicking off to us.?

Reports in Vancouver are that Adams was wearing a brace on his left leg and walking with a limp. I'd guess he misses at least one game but he could certainly miss many more? We'll see what we hear with their daily IR reports or any other news.

Sure are a lot of QB's getting injured so early this season.

Also Rhymes seemed to aggravate something that was bothering him in practice this week.

Lions play the Elks next on the road. Obviously the Lions are the better team but can the Elks actually lose 8 games in a row and extend the losing record at home? Then a very short week and the Leos are in Winnipeg. This game could go a long way to determines whether we're in the hunt for 1st. Four point game potentially.

Riders play the Argos next in Toronto. Chances are not good.

They had the swing pass against BC they should have used more often. BC gives up short yardage and that's the way to beat the rush every time . Their qb didn't see his RB wide open. Wpg had to do the same thing

And the fact it was for 2 points if they win and in hindsight that was a great drive that BC scored on...I question Dickenson's coaching all the time but in that case I do agree with that challenge given the situation.

The onside kick - don't agree, there was enough time on the clock to kick it deep and try for a 2 and out.  BC's kicker is one of the best in the league as well - if they had a poorer kicker, maybe I could support that decision but not with SW kicking.
