Too bad with Muhammad, but we have a pretty loaded DB room when healthy.

Hmm, I guess Abu beat out Mohammad

I would like to hope this opens up a spot for us to look at/try-out import LB's and D-line

A good import MLB would be amazing to back up Bighill.
I feel like Bighill's shoulder is bothering him more than he'd like to admit

We're freeing space as some 6 game IR players are due to return. Someone will be moved from AR to PR. A couple to 1 game IR.

Some of the possibilities: Note these are just speculative on my part but I expect we may see a few moves similar to these. In some cases I'd rather wait one more week to activate some of these players.

Lawler returns and replaces Agudosi

Burtenshaw replaces Beeksma

Wilson replaces Cole. Depends on whether Clement is injured or not.

Kramdi replaces either Kelly or Exume?

Rose replaces ADS.

Parker replaces Holm?

Fox replaces Haba if he's injured.

Beeksma and Kelly to PR. ADS, Holm and Agudosi to 1 game IR?

Most of that makes sense. Abu Daramy-Swaray has been good though. Hard to say if Rose can just come in and take that away, especially considering he had a down year in 2022.

Pigskin

I can't see us taking Exume out of the lineup. 2 games, 4 ST. He is also one of our fastest players. Just to good on teams.

Some tough decisions at DB.  I expect all our injured vets that gave missed a lot of games to require a couple games to get comfortable and up to speed.  I have faith in Rose but also like what Holm and ADS have done.  I have less knowledge of Parker other than I remember him being decent and not picked on too much.

The 6 gamers will have to wait until next game... maybe longer depending on how they are doing in practice...

Agree, some will be ready but maybe better to wait to be sure.

As i suggested last week and in this post, I'd rather give the IR guys another week. Maybe not for Kramdi if he's healthy but for the 6 game IR players. Part of that depends on whether we had new injuries that haven't been announced yet.

I like Holm and ADS but in theory the vets are " better ". Tough choices to be made due to roster size etc.

There was no mention of Miller practising last week. I didn't hear what his injury was, so he may be done for an even longer time or the season. IDK. Would be nice to get him back but, but but?

The team could change the DI's allowing Rose to be a DI and ease into the rotation. Parker got injured in the last pre-season so he could be more game ready.

id like to see us move Briggs to the practice roster as others get healthy, he hasn\t contributed much on special teams or regular plays. We can't continue to let past contributions keep us from moving forward

Interesting thought although I don't think he'd accept a PR spot as a long time Bomber. We'd have to move him to 1 game IR. Lots of questions surrounding our LB's. Gauthier on 6 game IR. Clement might have been nicked last week. Is Wilson ready to come back as a DI at the least? Cadwallader might have been nicked as well.

So timing could be an issue along with ratio and the number of LB's healthy.

The first question is what does the Tuesday daily IR show as far as new injuries? Can Exume fill in at LB? He's only 14 lbs lighter than Briggs.

Not sure about that assumption in the case of Abu Daramy-Swaray. He has the second best PFF of all CBs last week.

Only so many roster spots and we haven't been using a DI spot for a DB. However, that is a possibility as I suggested.

Rose has 60 CFL games under his belt and 2 Grey Cups with Winnipeg. ADS has played 4 games. I think he has a future but what do you do with Rose who appears ready to return this week or the following game?

Today's IR report indicates Clements and Haba as DNP due to injury.

That could suggest Wilson has to dress and probably start. Fox may be added to replace Haba as depth on DL. If that's the case I hope neither is out too long.

Still nothing about Hansen or Miller at practice.
