Timing is a bit strange - did he tweak an injury between yesterday and today?  Second thoughts on matchups by the coaches?  Message being sent ?

I am not adverse to the change - just odd to make it today and not yesterday. Not sure it impacts the elks game plan.

Who knows - maybe slightly under the weather, maybe not enough "jump"
But the door is now open for Dobson to take this opportunity and run with it.

The announcement today, but I'm sure that's what they did at their closed practice this week.

Pressure has been coming through the middle all year. Dobson was drafted for this, probably about time he got his shot.
