How old will Harris be ... 39 years old??  Hard for a player to come back at that age.

GOLDMEMBER

Does he want to continue to make $500,000 American to play a boys game?

If Harris recovers in a year or less he can still cash in as a legitimate starter.
for sure. I think he'll have the same recovery as Nichols and come back and play a couple of really decent seasons.

We'll have to see what Fine does with this opportunity, from what I've seen him play, he's a very athletic Qb who makes plays with both legs and arm. I'm thinking he'll come out of this a starter next season

Harris is considerably older now than Nichols was when he was hurt... recovery is longer and harder the older you get.  This is a tough rehab, especially if there was ligament/tendon damage as well as the bone break.

I wish him well in his recovery, but I don't think there is much chance he is a factor on anyone's roster going forward...
Unabashed positron.  Blue koolaid in my fridge.  I wear my blue sunglasses at night.  Homer, d'oh.

Nichols' mobility was never the same after his injury. And he was considerably younger than Harris when he sustained his.

I can't see this being either a quick recovery for Harris or boding well for his mobility when he returns to the field.

I thought it was an arm related injury that finished Nichols, not sure how that relates at all to Harris, with decent protection Harris should be able to make a comeback if he wants to.

We're discussing knee injuries.

I'm not talking about the shoulder injury he sustained in 2019.

I thought Nichols recovered fairly well from the knee injury, not that he was ever a mobile QB.  He did benefit from the best O-line protection the Bombers ever fielded and he was really good at throwing the ball away, so mobility didn't seem like much of an issue.  Harris has never had the benefit of great protection and always seemed fragile when hit, I saw this one coming when he signed in Sask.

Sucks for Harris.  Sucks for the league.  I hope he recovers.

Zach needs to learn from this and just not run up the middle.  It's those guys from behind that ruin legs.

Fine is maybe at Dru Brown level.  You're taking a huge risk relying on him as your #1 guy.  And you're probably not winning a playoff game.  SSK has done better on game results than they are on paper.  I expect them to start going downhill fast.  I'm not sure Fine will ever be a real #1 guy, but now we get to see.
Never go full Rider!

This is mke it or break it for fine.  This is his 3rd year now and he has to perform or go home.  Wouldn't surprise me if he does not cut it that the Riders start bringing in QB NFL cuts as soon as possible.
